Who Thinks Revolutions Was Useless !!!

I'm not a sci-fi obsessed geek, i hardly even like sci-fi movies. The matrix is just one of those movies thatare enjoyable to discuss, the movie gets better and better after hearing everyones interpretation of what the answer is.

Not all the questions left open are irrelavent, in fact the main questions that keep being brought have a very significant role in the storyline, at least it seems that way, which is why people are asking the questions. ✅

What are your questions then?? Ask one at a time, cuz honestly I don't see any plotholes.

Remember: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and no one has monopoly on the truth. In the case of this movie it's evident, that "the truth" is very relative indeed.
Some people HATE it because Neo and Trinity dies (well, did Neo die?), some accept that a cycle has to end with finality, others enjoy the tragic end, because it shows both victory and defeat in one scene.

Some people see plotholes. Others do not.

Icansee> Let me tell you then, why I DID indeed like The Matrix Revolutions. The entire trilogy is like one long amazing DREAM, revolutions included. The special effects aside, Revolutions continues down the rabbit-hole that Reloaded tossed me in.
I like Anime. I like the storytelling of those stories, that always hint at things that takes place before or outside the screen of the current story. Revolutions take FOR GRANTED that you’ve seen Reloaded, and doesn’t bother explaining ANYTHING from the movies that went before it. And it shoots out in many directions, just LIKE Reloaded, hinting at things, that I simply have to figure out myself.
It does not come neatly wrapped with an explanation. It leaves questions opened in the end, whose answer is up for interpretation, depending on WHO you are, and where you’re coming from.
The “long” dialogue scenes are important pieces of the puzzle, and that the brothers refuse to make one long action-flick pleases me immensely. Reloaded and Revolutions mirrors each other. You have a love-scene in Reloaded, echoed darkly by Trinity’s death in Revolutions.
You have an almost super-human Morpheus who takes on an agent in Reloaded, again echoed darkly by an almost “defeated” Morpeheus in Revolutions. I remember reviews of Reloaded complaining about Neo and co. being too super-human and Reloaded, the same reviewers who complained that everyone were VERY human in Revolutions.

ANDY AND LARRY SHOULD HAVE THE CRAP KICK OUT OF THEM FOR MAKING THE WORST MOVIE EVER AND KILLING THE MATRIX TRILOGY!!!!!!! 😒 ❌ 👇 👇 👇

Well it definitely wasn't pointless.......and how do u think it ruined the trilogy? 🤨 I didn't think so! It was given a worthy ending! Just becuz it wasn't all peachy and to ur taste, it doesn't mean it sucked ! What were u expecting??

Revolutions was one of the BEST movies ever. I got sick and tired of reading your complaints, so I skipped the last 10 pgs and went to posting.

At first glance, the ending may suck, but if you analyze it, it makes perfect sense. If anyone thought that the Matrix would suddenly is a noob. The Matrix has to continue bvecause there is no room for all the millions and billions of people to go. It's too dangerous to unplug all the people. Remember what happened to Neo in M1, he nearly went into shock and he even doubted the world he was living in was real. Imagine what would happen to someone who believed the Matrix was real and was unplugged. Most likely death by sever shock.

The Matrix is for the higher-level thinkers. There are a lot of q's in Revolutions that get answered, but for everyone answered, two new ones form. This is the style of The Matrix Trilogy. If you don't like it, too bad. Deal with it! It had the right mix of action and though and left me in amazement when I left.

Revolutions was crap. Reloaded was decent begining to a story and it just fell apart in Revolutions. It begins with neo stuck inside the matrix SOME HOW in the matrix, but not pluged in. Then theres a quick 20 seconds of Morph. Trin. and Seraph chasing "The Train Man" who is caring a revolver and unloads like 20 bullets without ever reloading. Then there's coat check wich was a sad 2 minute excuse for action. Then we see merovengian (not sure how spelled) for about 2 minutes and they punk him in to giving back neo and that's it... They get neo out of there and now he has super powers in the real world. WOW no 1 ever said the 1 could destroy electronics or had a second sight cause if that was the case the war would be won out side the matrix with neo just frying every squidy/robot that got in his way. THE ZION ROBOT BATTLE was so stupid come on giant metal squids vs metal robots with the pilots right outside of them. How retarded those people had nothing protecting them and some how they where just shooting down half a million sentinels?? please It only would take 1 sentinel to kill 1 robot piloted by a human just crashing into him but aperintly AI aint wat it used to be so the robots swarm n just fly around the robots. Then neo and trin. fly to the machine city and neos blowing up robots but yet some how he wants to cut a deal with them wen he can just fry them at the drop of his hand... Neo cuts a deal gets pluged in fights smith who now has copyed him self onto every person inside the matrix "but we cant do the burly brawl again" said the Wak Brothers o no well make smith like NEO he can fly and be super fast now. Even thowe he is everyone in the matrix and everyone in the matrix vs neo would of made the ultimate ending of the movie it mite have helped it redem it self neo vs the matrix (every one pluged in) destroying city blocks just fighting thousands of people no. Well have a flying battle in the rain with lots of shockwave spheres from wen they hit there punchs together. HOLY CRAP THERE GENIUSES the wak brothers killed a great story. Did I mention that they never awnsered wtf was up with the 5 ones and the 5 other zions(who made it, why, how, plz awnsers???) The Wak brothers killed the freaken movie man. If you haven't noticed I call them the Wak brothers cause that's wat they are wak how do you make a masterpiece like "The Matrix" Into probably the worst trilogy of all time when I say trilogy I mean reloaded n rev mainly because "The Matrix" stands alone as a movie/story. Also how are you gona add "everythign that has a beging has a end" as your slogan when you leave the story open to be finished off in your wak mmorpg.

Lets summarize
1. Wac bros = The Wak Brothers
2. Revolutions = Hollywood garbage
3. Neo has super powers in the real world
4. The matrix trilogy = crap
5. Back To The Future Trilogy > The Matrix Trilogy (thats just sad)

****There's probably alot of typos/errors in what I typed its late and im tired flame me if you must. I have my "I hate the matrix tril." opinion just like you have your "I love the matrix no matter how they **** it up" opinion****

Xemir: I am not being funny, but you really don't have the slightest clue do you. How can they KILL their own ****in' story. You act like it is your's.

Not to worry there will be another trilogy. Revolutions did not live up to what I wanted but I did love the last 2. Revolutions could of been better but one cannot have everything.

there will be no more movies, because they do not need anymore movies...you know, now that i think of it, this ending seems, to me, to be like the endings of Myths...cause they continue, even though whatever they ere explaining is over...

...was usless

It severed its purpose of concluding the Matrix.

Ok im gonna try and be nice here since the "powers" that be want me to tone myself down.

Mors....do you really think it was one fo the best movies ever?. Hey look you're entitled to your opinion but, do not put yourself ahead of other ppl as far as your mental capacity goes. That is what really burns me b/c you may be smarter than the average person but, you cannot say that most ppl needed to think in higher terms to understand this movie.

The movie was very watered down compared to the other two and it does not take a great mind to figure out what happend. It was dummbed down so that everyone CAN understand it. I have come to the conclusion that the ppl defending the movie with the old "you need to think about it more" are just defending their own pride in the movies and deep down inside they know the truth.

Look if it were just me then I would say fine but, go out into the real world and ask 10 ppl what they thought or have heard about the matrix revolutions and the majority will give you a negative responce. I have said before that box office gross does not make a movie but it sure does "speak" for the majority of movie-goer's.

Not even die-hard fans are going to see this movie again. I saw reloaded many, many times in the theatres and it was out for a while after it's release. In locations by me you could see reloaded up until about a month before revolutions. This third installment it sinking so fast it really is a HUGE disappointment. Here I stand exactly one month later and the movie did not even break the top ten box office films for the last week.

The only reason that movie made huge money was because of the Zero-hour promotion. If reloaded were on the same promotion it would have broken records that revolution's would not even be able to come close to.

If you liked the movie that's fine, even the worst movies have fans, but do not pass judgement onto other ppl simply because they do not agree with you.

If you are trying to be nice, now, I can only conclude, that you have, deliberately been harassing other forumites here in the past.

The movie was made as the Wachoskis wanted it, and it does not take a great mind to figure out what happens. They made the movie THEY wanted, not what the majority of movie-goers expected.
I have come to the conclusion that people who hate Revolutions do not possess the capacity to grasp other cultures, broader perspectives, or even want to. They may not necessarily be stupid, they're just too lazy to look for all the clues and good stuff, and too arrogant to admit it, although deep down they know the truth.

So true!! Xemir, it's not your story, they wrote their story the way they wanted to, and the way they needed to, because that's what it was all about... their story. It's not the average hollywood movie, that's for sure, and that's what makes it one of the best films ever. It takes unexpected turns that you'd not expect. And they make sense, at least to those without feeble minds. There's nothing to explain about the previous Zions... they were there, now they weren't. The previous ones Reloaded the matrix.. whoop. Nothing to explain there. I've seen it at least six times in theaters, I saw Reloaded three times. Now, are you telling me that I'm not a die-hard fan because I saw it more than once?

WHOA this thread is really big, never posted here, so there's ppl that hate revo and the thread is still open... ppl do have freedom of speech here... that's really good (sorry for not contribute with the thread topic, i'm just writting what i think)

revolutions a dissapointment??

Lets be honest....overall was revolutions a dissapointment? Open to all opinions. 😎

this is old.... use the search option

I'm torn, because on one hand I loved Matrix Revolutions and on the other this....is....olddddd. Yes use the search engine or do like I do. Don't open threads. 😄

i was referring to the questions asked by people who saw the movie, not actual questions in the movie.

I'm speaking of all the little clues and hidden things in the movie such as certain car's number plates and things written on walls and biblical references and such that in turn are researched by fans of the movie to deeper the plot and make it more interesting.

PS. Sorry bout such a late reply.

lol, with that in mind the movie still was not as good as I was expecting.

Who Thinks Revolutions Was Useless !!!

Before reading any further, I GET IT. I spent the first few days after it opened to figure out the hidden meanings in the movie. The whole "you didn't understand it" junk doesn't work here.

I'd be lying if I said I loved Revolutions. I liked it. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. That's about it. However, I've seen it three times and somethings do get better. I just don't have the love for it I had with the first two. I wish I could get the same joy out it the rest of you have. I just don't. Here are some possible reasons, I heard, it may not be considered by people as great as the others.
I repeat these are 'their' reasons, not mine.

Some of the dialouge was just, well, not up to par. Same with acting in some scenes. Character growth like in the first is almost gone. So most feel no sorrow when someone dies. Trinity's death scene falls here.

The explantions were as vague as always and then some. I seriously don't see that as problems though. This is a thinking movie. Would anyone HONESTLY expect the Oracle to explain the reason for Neo's powers as well as MetaMorpheus did?

The lack of fight scenes and the actual Matrix. Also the overdoing of the seige on Zion. It takes forever just to for the battles to go one way or the other.

After waiting six months, most people wanted something, well, more. Elements that made the first two good are missing so a 1/4 of fans left. At least where I live anyway. Seriously, The Matrix Revolutions only shows at 9:10pm where I live. I'm not saying it was a complete disaster; it just wasn't what others and myself expected.

In conclusion, yeah I was dissappionted. It could have been done differently and still had the same messages, but it wasn't. Oh well, we still have the Online Games and the Comics to look forward to. I think Morpheus sums it up just right.

"What happened, happened and couldn't have happened any other way."
