all forms of music have at least a couple of pop bands rap and country have to be the most pop though right now

Country? lol.. not really. Aside from Tim Mcgraw and the Dixie Chicks, not much Country in the mainstream.

Right now hip hop dominates the mainstream, because hip hop makes the best party music. But the people who like that hip hop are pop fans who just want something to dance to, most hip hop fans don't want anything to do with it.

Pinball.. rap has no instrumentals? I take it you've never seen a live DJ perform and must think it takes no talent.

its not what i hear from the media i hate the music and some really hates 50 cause he got shot 9 times and look what happend to Biggie hes dead and isnt there someone else all rappers

Talk? You've never tried to rap have you? Well go ahead and try it, if you honestly believe it's just talking anyone should be able to do it and you should instantly have great flow, voice tone, and timing, right? I garantee you rapping alone takes much more talent than you think. Not to mention writing lyrics, just rapping someone else's lyrics and sounding good is pretty difficult. And that's with ripping off their flow and everything, gets even harder when you ahve to develope your own.

ive heard some live rap concerts and i have to say they were pretty bad the reason they sound ok is with the music some back up chicks singing and its just my oponion that i dont like rap i like something you can listen to rap is some music but mostly rap

Hank Williams and Johnny Cash are the furthest thing from pop music. Being on tv doesn't make them pop.
