scotts affair was worse, cmon even you know that... Jean kissing logan isn't even an affair, or the beginning to one. Although I admit Scott was confused and reluctant and being taken advantage of. Jean and Logan's relationship is complex. Her, Logan and Cyke are all extremely close. Its different than awkwardly carrying on an affair with a reformed villain who hates your wife and you dont know very well...

thing is... jean should have spotted it earlier, isnt it said that a wife knows her husband better than he knows himself? and logan was only close to jean cos he chased her so much... jean never seemed to do what someone who didnt want the attention would do: tell him to piss off... yet she didnt...
jean took scott for granted... and look what happened...

jean has turned logan away before. but even so, the relationship between them is much different than between scott and emma. 😉
and she did try to talk to him... he didnt want to talk, he just wanted his mind read. Which is what he does with Emma now, the easy way out.
Although I think Jean should have sat down with him after she found out about the affair... but they never had the chance.

obviously... but jean never made a definitive attempt to get rid of logan, she never put her foot down... and she never took scotts feelings into account...

when they got together she knew what she was getting into, he was always like that, he was never an open guy, she wouldnt be with him in the first place if she couldnt read his mind, that was part and parcel of the relationship... and having apocalypse inside his head for a while wasn't helping was it...

not yet. But colossus destroying an entire world?? Only mutants related to the story I can think of that might do it are Phoenix and Apocalypse... and its almost certainly not going to be Jean since they keep mentioning her.

as unlikely as it is i think colossus has a huge part to play in astonishing...
