What is it?

Just before the images of matrix code at the beginning of Revolutions settle on the orange "Explosion" we can see this symbol:

What does that mean? Any suggestions?

it looks like a bulls horns. Maybe an egyptian symbol or Chineese ceuniform

As Egypt goes it looks like "half" an Ankh. If it has a full circle on top it would look like an ankh, but it doesn't. Sliiight resemblance to the Isis-crown...
It doens't really look like a Chinese symbol either.

The reason I said Chineese is because the language is so large. Maybe it is half an ankh. Or maybe were paranoid and it is meaningless, but knowing Wachowskis it probably does mean something...

But if the Wachoski's wanted to use an ankh they would have. It probably means something specific, but Chinese symbols usually don't LOOK like that (I could be wrong).
Again, the resemblance to Isis (Mother of Horus, inspiration for the Mary and Jesus pictures in Christian religion) or rather, to her crown, isn't very specific either.
Maybe it's some obscure astrology sign?

If its the symbol of life and is has its cut off at the top, maybe it ties in with the fact that it is about death.

Well what the significance of it is, I don't know, but I DO know that it's the Matrix from an overhead view (the city not the pod towers). Notice the 3 lines? 🙂

It looks awfully similar to what 01 looks like from above as well 😄

i dunno what it means but that simbol appears in one of the screen when link is looking for neo (i think that's when i saw it) so it's just part of the code... i guess
