It would not have been shown on screen for that long and at that close if it wasn't a CERTAIN symbol that was meant to be shown.

I don't really think its a little nod to the chicago bulls and what not, but thats probly the easiest answer.

Look more closely and you will see the 3 lines I speak of. I saw them on the first viewing. You can JUST see them in the picture.

And, Omega, YES, it DOES look like 01. Just because 01 has the PATTERN of a fractal inside it and is the major point shown on the screen does NOT mean that is what it looks like. Believe me, it is the shape of the nice little sign you see in the Matrix code.

I am looking at it right here on my screen, so you can say whatever you wish.

I think I know what Sifer is talking about: This symbol appears just after the overhead view of the matrix..But I see only two lines above the symbol.

Yeah i know it shows that symbol after elevating out of the matrix, but that doesn't exactly mean it is the exact shape of the matrix, there is another million and one symbols in there.

It also shows the explosion of the source code and the shape of 01 as if it were inside the matrix, but that doesn't mean it is inside the matrix, if we go by what it shows at the start, 01 exists inside the city that exists in the matrix, so there is no real world.

I was thinking Sifer meant he actually had a proper over view of the matrix and 01, and it was shaped like that, at least thats what i was hoping for.

actually, it shows this ( i forget the order)
1) the street/city-scape where neo n smith fight (super burly)
2) 01 (in source view-that's why its gold-from the perspective of neo when they're falling from the sky)
3) that symbol (n i wrote this note at like 2 am when sumthing came to me) looks like a "Y" which led me to think of the Merovingian-"the keymaker himself is a means, not a "why", without a y, without cause, you have nothing."
sry if this sounds weird, but i think the y we were supposed to think of is what is the relation to the two images seen (city/01) and realize that Neo fights Smith from 01 and works through the source. k? tear at it if you will.

i'm pretty sure it goes through the title, then it shows 01, then it blows up, we get kind of thrown out of the code, it falls back down and shows the street, we come back out and there is the symbol.

in JKozzy's thread which was the same of this, the bit seen at the end of the fractal is 01.... i posted a comparison

ok, there are two things that stand out in my mind...first is that the bull contains both the real world and the Matrix, and that the "bull" is deformed...well, and the fact that it is deleted very quickly by a strand of the matrix...ok, i just thought of this, so bear with me because it is probably full of holes but...here we go...i think the bull is a representation of the union of Neo and Smith, the connection, one side is perfectly shaped, but the other is mishapen, leading me to think that it is an unbalanced union...then there is the fact that the Bull, or cattle in general, are highly thought of in multiple religions...in Judaism/Christianity, we see the Bull as having two abilities, to be both good and evil, or rather, that it can be used for good or evil purposes, in India, cattle is considered to be divine, in ancient Egyptian, it was a highly revered animal. SO, i think the bull is representative of the fact that Neo and Smith must join to 'save' both the Matrix and the Real world, because they, in essence, 'contain' both in themselves...

There are 3 lines. One coming from either side of the top of the symbol and one from the centre of the top of the symbol. They all meet at a small rectangular box above the symbol. As to the fractal thing - I CAN'T post screenshots unless you want blackness. Not even Hypersnap is taking the pics - and not just in this movie, in all of them. But, Omega, did I say 01 was inside the Matrix? No, I said it was in the shape of it. The machines based the design of the Matrix city on their own - Makes sense to me, but I guess not to you.

Oh and Mordecai, every dirty old man lies? Hrmmm, first I have heard. And NO, I am NOT lying.

Sifer> The symbol in question (the “bull-symbol”) is seen along with the Matrix coding. So if that symbol is supposed to be 01, what is it doing in Matrix coding, hence in the Matrix.
And the bull-symbol does NOT look like a fractal. 01 looks like a fractal, which you see both at the beginning of the movie and when Neo/Trin crashes down into the Machine City.
