Wow. I can't believe he died. I mean, I didn't really even like him, but I'm frucking devastated. This is the first thing thats touched me in a long time and I have no idea why.

Was that the film he did with Dolph Lungren? If so, that movie had an extremely odd line in it, where he tells Lungren "don't get shot, you have the biggest penis I've ever seen on a man."

haermm

Sorry to say, no.

That movie was called, "Showdown in Little Tokyo"

"Having a child puts life in perspective. Like I'm not really scared of death now cause i know if I die, i could live through her" (his daughter)

- Heath Ledger (?)/2007 "EXtra!"

Just saw it on the news at 10.

Wow. This came out of left field. Shocked.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Jeez. When I saw the title of this thread I was sure it was shit. OMG. He was a really good actor, two of my favorite movies ever is "10 Things I Hate About You" and "A Knight's Tale". I love every movie he's ever done... I even had a crush on him years ago... 🙁

Apparently he had pnumonia, and it may have been an accidental overdose.

I heard about this at work, and everyone heard it at the same time, and no one said a word. Everyone was just silent, it was like they were too afraid to even utter a word.
Some people even cried, being huge fans of Ledger, I guess it was more shocking for them.
I kept waiting for someone to tell me it was an early April Fools joke. 🙁

I think he means you telling us people reacted as though this was the Kennedy assassination.

It's just what I observed. I saw people over the back area not doing anything, just not saying anything at all, and when they did, they whispered. It was like they were afraid they'd be yelled at.
An hour or so later they'd gotten over it and started yelling and laughing again.
It was just the shock of first hearing about it, is all.

Nah. I meant about her telling us like people reacted as though the Martians had flattened New York, London, Tokio and Paris.

Damn...so no BrokeBack Mountain part 2 🙁

Lol, I see your point, I really, but it's what I saw, and heard. People react differently, I guess. *shrugs*

Shame.....

Not sure, he might not like my spelling of Tokyo. Which, granted, was wrong.

RIP Heath.

Shit, I really didn't see it coming. I had really recently been saying that I was glad to see him taking a role where he'd definitely escape any chance of being labeled a pretty boy, and where his acting would have a chance to stand on it's own. I didn't expect it to be his last role though.
