Puh-lease... Robert Downey Jr's not going down to some silly sleeping pills. If he OD's he'll do it properly on heroin or cocaine, in fact I'd expect him to OD speedballing on both.

Bullshit. He's a pro, man. He's not going to OD no matter what he puts in his body.

It's all over the news here. First time I have watched the news since learning of his death. The 5pm news spent 15 minutes on his death, interviewing his neighbours, can you believe? Sometimes people shit me, ask someone who really knew the guy, not his ****ing neighbours!

People are starting to link (blame) his Joker roll as to what lead him down the path of pill-popping. Heath had said the role was "so intense", that he wasn't sleeping more than a couple hours each night.

Apparently the Joker can affect the real world.

How localized a part of the world. Oceania? Well he's Australian so probably in Australia. New Zealand? There's probably news of it here but I haven't been following it that closely, additionally Sir Edmund Hillary recently passed away (first to reach the summit of Everest, along with his Sherpa guide) so there's been quite a bit of news focus on that and I think collectively the country is more interested in that since he was born, raised and lived here.

I don't really see the need to make a thread about him or a genius chess player or the Trimspa lady and her son... I really don't get the point of these "RIP threads" feigning heartfelt sympathy, when really it's more akin to not being able to look away from a car crash.

Maybe people just have the need to say something about it. If you don't like the thread, don't come here.

Even worse it has all those "RIP posts". They are horrible. I don't get RIP anyways. To me it seems the whole ****ing problem of a dead person is the RIP part.
