Why Oh WhHy

in all movies, books, etc, when there is a good side, there is also an evil side, but that is just to counter part the good, for without evil, the story would be boring and unimaginative......

but, now i have considered you words on hell, and, i have to say that maybe there is some evil, but not to the extremes of hell.........or, how it is implied to be......

about heaven and hell, I am not a 100% sure, since it was a long time since I opened the book, but I doubt the bible mentions Hell.

I once read in Time magazine that Hell was invented by the catholic Church, also as far as I can remember no story about jesus, the real source of our faith, ever talks about him talking about a place like hell.

Also it is stated in the bible that God forgives 7*70 times, 7 being a holy number it actualy means god forgives nearly everything. If God forgives nearly everything there would be no, or atleast very little, point to hell

Heaven and hell are a state of mind. But the question is: "Why do we need the idea of heaven or hell?"

Heaven and hell are part of religion
Because we need to have a purpose and a goal and that is our purpose and our goal

but in modern days ppl don't want to have a purpose anymore so they are becoming atheists

hell isn't specificly mentioned as far as I have read in my book, who quotes about damnation and all
it says that when you die god will not recognise you if you are on his lefthand and you will not get salvation

though, should check the bible itself, perhaps 😉

the bible does mention hell just not its name. the lake of fire is hell.

but they expended it to the entire kingdom of the devil with fire and beasts etc.
could you give the exact location of the mentioning please?

quite possible but still thqt is no justification of the the catholic church used the idea of hell to make sure everyone followed their laws in the dark ages and way beyond that

catholic chruches burn christains just because they belive in different stuff. so i really dont care for them.

but i believe hell is real and so for heaven.

Like I said before. Heaven and hell are a state of mind imo.

kinda, but this would be a very difficult subject to debate, anything envolving religion is difficult to debate
