The Desert Flower by Waris Dirie. I have already read it probably about 16 times, but it never stops amazing me how strong the human spirit can truly be. The struggles she overcame as a child to become one of the Worlds Top Supermodels is beyond my most wildest imagination!
If you haven't read it, I suggest you do yourself the favour and read it. It will make you re-evaulate what in your life, in the end, is the most important. It will actually make you feel like a spoiled brat in a lot of ways!! I know it sure slapped me in the face (metaphorically speaking of course) 📖
The Forestwife Trillogy by Theresa Tomlinson. An interesting retelling of the Robin Hood Story...very interesting, concentrating mostly on Marian in the first book but I'm into the second and it's now focused on a friend's daughter, named Magda. Kicks Ass! Recomended...along with other books by Tomlinson, especially The Moon Riders...
