I wouldn't of picked Patrick Stewart. I would have went with someone more Yul Brenner looking. More chisled features and a solid american speach.

Also for Magneto, a former Olympic class swimmer with his hair dyed silver white.

Both men should be in their late 40's.

I'd love to see them do a revamp of the movie series where Charles and Eric are that age and the X-men are in their early 30's.

I think for the ages they decided to go with, the casting was appropriate. Remember, Magneto was in the Holocaust! He's not gonna be 40 if her was a child in WWII and still remembers it.

I think that Sir Ian McKellen is too skinny, he wouldn't be my choice to Magneto physically speaking, because in terms of acting he rocks
