actually the first two made 862fotr+920ttt=1,782,000,000 or rounded 1.8 billion. Rotk just has to make 80 million dollars more then the two tower to get a bilion bucks, or 55million to kill harry potter and become the secound most successfull movies ever. It's quite possibile. TTT made 60 million then fotr. It is very likely to beat harry potter or the billion dollar mark. 😎

LOTR does have a different public than HP and Titanic. It's only for sixteen years and older, so by that it will make less money too I think. Not that I'm sixteen by the way, but anyway..
