Juggernaut vs Doomsday

He's always had power over the storms, unless Marvel changed the actual mythical character of Thor. The hammer was to increase his strength yeah, but Thor was always 'god of thunder.' As for sticking to the topic, I thought everyone basically agreed neither Juggernaut or Doomsday would do much damage to the other. Doomsday can't be killed the same way twice right? And Superman already beat him to death, so Juggernaut wouldn't be able to do that. He doesn't have any other powers to my knowledge. If that fight were to happen, surely Superman and the X-men would get involved and then everything would get all chaotic.

They did change it. Any power he doesn't have as a normal Asgardian, he gets the power from the hammer.

They changed 1300 years of myth? The bastards lol. So what was Thor the god of then, according to Marvel, before his hammer?

Asgard is more of a race in Marvel, don't know if I'd personally call them gods, but they were still worshipped in the past.

I don't know what he was god of, if anything before Mjolnir, just that he was heir to Odin's throne. And the hammer, if you remember, Eric Masterson (Thunderstrike), had Thor's hammer for a while, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he used it close to the extent that Thor DID.

Yeah Masterson was a tough SOB, but he didn't have the fighting experience Thor had. His strength was virtually the same though.

No, not in particular. But please note, that i think the notion of the Doomsday character is quite rediculous and is an endeavor which should have never been made or at least tactfully contained. Either way Doomsday, hands down.

Yeah I agree with you there, not a very good money making scheme for DC in my opinion.

juggernaut would have to kill doomsday, just knockhim out and put im an an adimantuim box that i made in shop class

I think Doomsday can be killed by the same person twice, just not the same way twice. I don't think either would win the fight because Juggernaut can't kill Doomsday by pounding on him as he already died that way, and Juggernaut would keep getting up when Doomsday put him down. I think Doomsday would get the best of Jugs like Hulk has, but it would end when one decided to walk away.

If that were true, Jugs is stupid but Doomsday is insane. Jugs would decide to walk away. Jugs couldn't produce the same force Supes could anyway, so he wouldn't be able to kill Doomsday, not unless it was maybe the very first version that Supes fought (since i think Supes and some of the other heros killed Doomsday like 3 times before he finally "killed' Supes.)

like I said in another thread THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE AABOUT THIS. juggernaut couldn't possibly kill him by brute strength and doomsday doesn't have the kind of power to destroy juggernaut, but if this were a cage match aor a match that wasnt' to the death, doomsday would win. also just because doomsday killed supes doen'st mean that he is as strong as him, but he is at juggs level, plus there are many ways to kill supes like
1. make some krptonian dynomite or bullets (pretty much anything that is kryptonite based)
2.magic or sorcery
3. bug the hell out of him untill he kills himself or flys off
4. throw him into a black hole in space

Even though its pretty hard to find if someone with enough power comes around he can defeat the Juggernaught but thats pretty rare, only Onslaught was able to kick his ass to a point that he almost died he tore the ruby out of his freaking body for crying out loud. so i guess doomsday might lose round one but Juggernaught would lose round two but then again the juggernauts powers are not totally defined maybe he can gain more power too : / i dont know >.< he is immortal so you never know.

hmm umm why doesnt someone just trap doomsday? like in a prison made of adamantium.....did anyone ever think of that? he wouldnt die so how could he escape? 🙂

wordup. and doomsday can defeat juggernaut with ease, but he can't kill him, and juggernaut can't kill doomsday

Yeah, that would be a good idea, IF the DC universe had adamantium to begin with. Besides, if Hulk's strong enough to bust up adamantium, you can bet Doomsday could do it as well.

And the gem that was never in his chest to begin with? Yeah, all know that story.😉

Doomsday, DC's "perfect" or "ultimate" character. He's cheese, he wins, hands down.
