heh,
not leaving my guns,
"Fine those without guns will go, Hep, Cloud and Mors, ur up! but if you need help, one ring and you got an assload of firepower in there"

"as I said before they are only a few romms away, we can get there in no time and I do not forsee anything bad to hap^pen in this place"

I guess the final decision is down to the three people themselves.

Mors in particular.

"Goddam, there is always a problem with me being a guns nut..." Ares complains. He looks to the others.

*turns to Mors* Although i am still concerned, i think you should go. It is the option i see at the moment, and Fire does have a point...

Mors nods. "Alright..."

He turns to Fire and Coeus. "If anything happens up there and I do not return, one of you may take command of the mission. I do not expect anything dangerous to happen, but you never know with the Matrix..."

He turns back to the man. "I'll see him now, if you can take me there."

(How come everyone calls me Hep? Heph is pronounced Heff...)

Heph looks to Mors and Cloud. "Should we go now?"

"Please come with me..." says the man. He leads you upstairs (where you are searched for guns), and through a series of rooms you do not quite remember the order of, and into a kitchen. In the kitchen is a medium heighted chinese man, well dressed, and a number of goons around him.

Heck, you know what this is now, Mors. These are Tongs, vicious underworld criminals, a culture present in the Matrix as much as in real history.

In there also is an ENORMOUS man in a chef's outfit. He is freaking huge! When he sees you, he turns aggressively towards you with his cleaver...

"Zuban! No!" calls out the well-dressed man, and the huge cook stands back. "These are the ones?" he asks your guide, who nods. "Follow," he then simply says to the three of you.

He leads you through more rooms, and up some more stairs, and through further rooms. There is a desk in this lavish room, also decked out wit paintings, statues and other expsnvie things, also soft, red-lined carpet and walls.

"Forgive me," he says, "but I am about to eat and I see no reason to change that." Waiters keep popping in and out the room; one bringing him soup as a starter.

"I am Ni Zahn," he says, sitting down. "And I understand you wish to see me?"

The rest of you may drink at the bar down below.

Heph waits for Mors to speak, hands hanging by his sides.

Side Note: ok, so i'm going over the Oracle's speech, and i figured some stuff out...or so i think.

first, we accept that the Bounty is destroyed because it is easy for us to accept, while it may not be what we want to hear. I got this from the "Still, i DO like the taste..."

why it is us, i cannot think of...perhaps because it is necessary for our growth that we go on the journey, regardless of the end. Lets think...Dallas' contempt for Morpheus got us this position, the machines schedule got us the ability, but why? Zion needed the codes to be one step ahead of the machines...but then, why would Jericho want it? to do the same thing. So...Jericho fakes the death of his crew, but for what reason? does he think the machines are on to him, have somehow tapped into ZIon? that there is a...traitor. How long has it been since Cypher was killed? less than six months?

which friend would need to part the lies from the truth? well, looking at the Oracle prophecies, i would say it could be Rade, Me, or Fire.

"Yes, that is why we are here," Mors says. "I am Mors, this is Hephaestus, and this is Cloud."

"We are here to talk about Jericho."

Jedi- one other important thing made it you. You are right that Dallas' need to prove himself over Morpheus led to it.

But also was that you were delayed in Z-on at all- which was only because of your faulty engines.

And yes, definitely less than six months since Cypher died (Dallas mentioned the traitor in Morpheus's crew at the start of the Zion thread, in an obviously recent reference)

-

"I see," says Ni Zhan. "And you are... friends of Jericho?"

"Yes, I knew him well. He was a good friend of mine, but was supposedly killed."

(Does Ni Zahn know about the Matrix?)

You have no idea!

"I see," says Ni Zahn. "But he is most assuredly not dead, as you must know if you are searching for him. And let me tell you now... if you are a friend of Jericho's... you are no friend of mine."

Ares paces the floor and orders a drink from the bartender.

He looks at you grimly as he serves you, Ares.

"Is there a reason that everyone here is giving me that look?" Ares asks the bartender, taking a swig.

These just don't seem to be very nice people, Ares.

Celsius, Coeus and Fire, you are kind of getting that 'Tongs' hint as well now.

(arg, damn school...)

"I dunno, Ares...maybe you just scare people." San replied.

Heh... did you catch yp with all that, TM?
