"Like we said, he is supposed to be dead. He died 6 months ago, killed by things we call Sentinels. He and his team. But then he turned up at the airport when we were going for the device. We do not know how or why, which is why we consulted the Oracle, and which is why we are talking to you."

(No, underworld being the underworld- organised crime)

"I see," says Ni Zahn. "He fakes death to escape you, and now you come for him... but you will not find him, believe me. I tried. Maybe you will meet again... if that same package was to become available again, hmm?"

*listens intently, then speaks so softly it is seemingly to himself* "...so, the Oracle sent us to an enemy of Jericho...but why? will he lend us the support of his organization? and what is the purpose of his organization in the first place? Is he human or program? if he does help us, why would he do it? Does he think we are Mercs, or what? so many questions...so few answers..." *reaches up and rubs his temple, then motions to the bartender* "Yeah, uh, give me some green tea, and um, you have any tea buscuits?"

Heph thinks for a moment. "What do you mean?"

*Coeus pounds on the table, again to the dismay of the fellow patrons*
"uh, i remembered my neighbor owes me money" *he says to the restaurant, then thinks to himself* "Why wouldn't they try to set up another exchange? of course...why didn't i think of that? anyway, how do we find out where and when?"

(meh my mom needs to get on the comp so I'm afraid I gotta run now, hopefully I'll be back later tonight or more likely tomorrow.)

(I assume you are asking Ariadne to update you, Coeus, unless uou have SUPER good hearing... it is hard for her to relay it ALL to you).

"Well, it has to come again some time, does it not?" says Ni Zahn. "Everyone has been shaken up by the incident at the airport. Everyone failed." He smiles, a horrible smile. "I imagine Jericho's employer was MOST displeased..."

Uh, yeah, of course... 😮 😄

btw, is there a download for SUPER excellent hearing? i want it, if so...

You can download a kind of Detective download that would maker you very perceptive, but you cannot actively give yourself super-hearing.

"Well, we knew the Machines would have to get the codes in again," says Ariadne to you, Coeus. "But that's no good to us- it took months of work to find where they would come in from before. And no Coppertop is going to have discovered the Machine schedule like we had."

(That sounds interesting...)

"Employer? If you mean our leaders, then you should know that they haven't had contact with him either."

*to Ariadne* "perhaps we won't need a coppertop to tell us, perhaps we can get the Machines to tell us..."

"Yeah, good luck with THAT..." says Ariadne. "I'll just call the Agents, shall I?"

Ni Zhan looks at you.

"Of course not your employers!" he says. "Else you would not have been there, would you? No, I mean the person Jericho works for now."

Watches the traffic and then he sips his tea, it is quite enjoyable and he smiles a bit.

"If I can download an Agent-killing power, then sure, why not..." Ares says sarcastically. "Goddamn, I wish I was Neo..."

Castor, your phone rings- it is Finn.

"His new employers being?" Heph asks.

"Ahh, you do not know..." says Ni Zahn. "I do, I know his employer well. Jericho has little personal use for packages like the one you were after... but Melitus does.

"Yes, Melitus, a powerful man. And I used to be his partner, the man he depended upon. Until Jericho took my place..."

Heph raises an eyebrow.

"Can you tell us where Melitus is? I think we should talk to him..."

*Shakes his head while on the cell* "No, no, no...thats not what i mean...it would have to be set up such that, the machines tell us, without knowing it is us, where they are going to be...whether it be through hacks, or what...*shakes head* i don't know...my head is starting to throb from the incense in here...Coeus Out." *turns to Fire* " i'm going to get a breath of fresh air, see how Burn and Castor are doing."

Castor opens his phone.

"Yeah?"
