RAWR! Extra damage has less of an effect on Mundanes but that will be enough to increase your roll by one point if you hit.

Sure you are. However, there are two things-

1. You remember that you have to spend an action 'powering up' that kick as run along the wall, yeah?

2. Some of them will get a free shot on you as charge them down.

Can i do the same thing as last time, but make it fast? either way, i wanna do what i did last turn, (water weapon) and (awesome downpour) the same two guys, unless someone would like to take em out with guns...and seeing as how i just need to hit them for 11, if i'm correct, then it seems as good a time as any to make it fast. and defense is still (defend)

ah hell...no...i fire another 3 bursts. again 2 at one and one at another....but the clip won't probably be enough...

Whoa there, Coeus and San, I hadn't advanced things yet... I shall do so now.

Rade, indeed, you only have enough bursts for your first attack, which means you just made a single very inaccurate attack. You roll evens, which makes the attack come out as 13 as the guy dodges, going up to 14 from the Mundane Killing Power of that gun. That Hits him for 2, and your ammo is spent... but to be kind, I'll make that kll the guy already Hit for 4!

Ok, the bad guys fire! Well onl four of those at the entry do, as the others are reloading or clearing jams. They fire at Coeus, Rade and Castor again, two shots at Rade this time.

JUST clipped, Coeus! 3 damage, leaving a hole in your trenchcoat... the others all miss, by rather a lot!

As Celsius frantically reloads, the one shotgunner who can fire pumps his shotgun (cha-chink!) and fires! -1, a miss. ANOTHER chunk explodes behind you, Celsius! A bottle of brandy shatters and sprays everywhere.

The uzi guy coming down the stairs fires at San, who shot his mate last action. He rolls +1, good, but not good enough... San! Bullets pinging all around you!

At the east side tables, they are reloading after the bonus shots they got on Fire.

At the west side tables, we now have EIGHT shooters, who fire at everything in sight! San, Celsius and Ares get two attacks each, Burn and Fire get one.

Unlucky San- clipped for three as Coeus was earlier, as a bullet grazes your knuckles.

Ares is less lucky. A +9 on him is not good news, as he takes then damage as a bullet slices lightly along his leg. Celsius, crumbs, there are bullets coming at you from everywhere! But they all are missing still...

Ok, that seems to be that! More reinforcements now. Another uzi guy comes out the toilets to the west, one more shotgunner comes in from the south, the guy coming down the stairs is now down the stairs and another is behind him, and six more follow up the ones that came in through the entrance!

NOTE THAT THE NI ZHAN'S OFFICE BATTLE IS NOW TWO ACTIONS BEHIND EVERYONE ELSE! Heph and Mos still have to declare two actions and defences. Remember to specify your targets (by weapon) like I asked! Just to make sure you do, any non-specified attack from Mors, Heph or Cloud will get -2 to hit!

Ok, some points...

Cloud, that attack of yours (still not happening whilst Mors and Heph delay, I am afraid) did not specifiy a target. Like I say, that will give it -2 to hit. Cloud, Heph and Mors really must specify WHO (by weapon) they are targetting, as requested.

I see no-one else has gotten into cover yet. I seriously recommend you do this, there are far too many bullets flying around to risk staying in the open! This is just the start of the fight, you need to minimise your chances of being hit.

Rade suffered badly by having insufficient ammo for his attack there. Do remember to keep count!

If things look bad right now, they will look a little better when Ares takes his actions. I kinda calibrated this on Ares and Burn firing like mad each action!

Celsius is reloaded, Burn and Castor are now free to act again, Burn has his Deagle.

San, moody at this dodging guy, fires again at him. He dodges again.

But BINGO! You roll +10, San, and totally blow him away!

Coeus, no you cannot make it fast- that has to be basic attacks, e.g. ones using no Path powers or Gun tricks.

Typically enough, your attack this time is enormous, a +9, and both of them are sent VERY dead, slashed clean open...

hmm only 4 focus left well I do a fast slah (-2 to hit) on the already hit goon as defence: willow Step

You roll -1, Fire, taking your total to 12. He dodged, making his total 11, but you get +1 for the sword and another +1 for high damage, making that a hit for 3... close, but not enough! He is now Hit for 5. You lose an exertion, Fire.

Ok! Welcome to your new team member from the Percy, Barbarossa!

He'll be joining this fight at the start of the second round. Right now, I will give him a small intro to lead him into things.

Barbarossa, you have been working with Captain Marduk of the Persepolis on extended assignment. After a considerable number of tedious, but fruitful, observation and espionage missions, you are one of the team that broke open the Machine's security schedule, information that culminated with the recent attempt to surreptitiously intercept, copy, and replace the new Machine cipher keys and break their codes..

As you have read by reading the other threads, that mission went terribly wrong, when your shipmates assigned to that mision, backed up by Captain Dallas' men from the Shahazarad, had the mission cocked up by the unfortunate interference of Jericho's crew from the Bounty, somewhat unexpected as they have all been dead for six months. Apparently after the same thing as you, their attempt clashed with yours and the outcome was disaster, with the Machines alerted, and all your good work wasted. You were still on an observation misison at the time.

Whilst Celsius, a senior officer from your ship, has been leading a small team working with the Shez's investigation into the affair- centring around an attempt to find 'Jericho' and discover the truth behind what is going on, Marduk returned the rest of his crew, including you, to observation duty as you try and start your work again.
