USH'S MATRIX GAME: SECOND ASSIGNMENT: 'Ghost Hunt'

Started by Bespin Bart87 pages

(Do we have to get their damage up to our killing level to kill them, Ush?)

Mors feints for Knifeman's right side and goes for the left with a jab.

Then he bats away any blows coming for him by twirling his katana.

Then he slashes to literally disarm Knifeman by hacking downwards vertically.

He then blocks.

Yes, they take damage the same way you do.

Ok, Mors, you make your first strike at him. You roll +1- your feint works! Another six damage to the knifeman as you slash his side.

Knifeman's strike back is a -2, and your Katana twirl bats it away.

Your hack downwards at the start of the new action rolls a -1. He twists out the way of your shot and ripostes with a Bite of the Butterfuly, for a fast attack.

He rolls +2. Damn it! He cuts across your hand for three damage. And he loses an exertion.

"Gah!" Mors shouts as the cut gets him. "Dragon would be good at this..."

He smiles as he twirls his knife, giving you a Chinese insult as he does so...

Heph makes a Bite of the Butterfly jab with his knives for Zuban's stomach.

Then he dodges, flipping to the side again.

He then tries Beak of the Crane on Zuban.

so our room is clear..
i'll take the door that fire is NOT going in.
"yo fire, call me up if you run into any trouble"
*drops shotgun* (no ammo)
*pickes up loaded auto weapon*

That's an action to do that, Burn.

Zuban, unsubtle, will simply try to hit you twice, Heph. Your jab rolls -3. Darn it! His strike rolls +1. WHOA! You just about dodge out of the way.

Heph- you are armed. You may not attempt a Hold.

do it!
need a loaded gun,
could i take the ammo outta other guns so i can have more for my gun?
and does the 4 burst rule apply for named characters

Four bursts is not a literal rule, just you cannot get more than +3 to hit with burst fire, so why bother firing more than 4 bursts on one target?

I'll make i an exertion to pick up a spare clip also.

I am quite tired tonight, so I shall update things tomorrow- also give me a little more time to think about things and make sure everyone has a grip on what is going on.

See you guys...

Meh, sod it, I'll do it now...

Heph, I believe, though it is in ther wrong thread, wants to Kick of the Grasshopper Zuban. He dodges. Waste of a dodge though, as with a -7 that Kick goes nowhere, Heph...

He strikes back with another swing of the mace- evens for another miss! Getting pretty hairy, Heph!

San, I moved you through the north door. I'll remind those at the north end that they are confronted by another door.

Castor, you advance into the kitchen, still slightly steamy. There is a door to the north out of here, and at first glance you catch six goons- but armed with assault rifles and body armour- hidden behind various cupboards, ovens and other bits of cover, worth 4 points.

Mors, that knife wound has double wounded you- darn it!

Incidentally, from this point on it takes EIGHT points of Hit to Out a Mundane- not 6.

ARES BURN JOB OPPORTUNITY

SHOOT EM

Ares gets on top of a table.

Ares fires two bursts at a guy taking cover behind a cupboard.

damn it Castor...*Coeus runs into Kitchen*

well..Rade continues to advance.
nope..sorry fire..no spare weapons..just my mp5...with the final clip in it.

np Dexx just kill em all real fast

I'll use my 'CLOUD KATANA COMBO' again on Go-ya (the water weapon, hands without shadow, rotje one) and I'll BLOCK against their attacks.

I must impress on players the importance of paying attention. Ares, you aren't anywhere near them.

Ok, Coeus is heading into the Kicthen this action (gaining an exertion as he moved to the North Side), and so is Rade. That's the two for that corridor done this turn, anyone else moving anywhere?

Cloud, Go-Ya uses a Learned Tutor's Block on that attack.

But you roll +1, taking your total to 16! A hit as you slash across his front! The Roar takes that to 6 damage on Ya.

hmm...bank any of my actions until later tonight, Ush, because I'm leaving soon for a party and don't know when I'll be back.

But on that topic, I think I'll head towards the kitchen.
