I'm going to put in my own descriptions and ratings for all the select pics released so far.
1: The first ever Episode 2 picture released to the public was of a possible Jedi Padawan Knight, most likely Anakin Skywalker. With his dark brown suit and in a running position it was enough to make any Star Wars fan get excited, despite the fact that the background was blurred. Perhaps the complete picture with no blurred background will be released later on the Official Star Wars Site, but for now, this was not a bad start to a collection of Episode 2 Images.
Rating = 3/5
2: This picture showed us Natalie Portman (I presume) sitting at what looked like the same ramp that was within the Lars homestead that we saw in A New Hope. This hinted the return to the moisture farm at Tatooine and seeing as it's confirmed that we'll be seeing Owen and Beru Lars it's quite likely that these hints will become confirmations.
Rating = 4/5
3: This image showed a possible crew member wearing the mask of an alien that was seen in The Phantom Menace. The set looks like it is probably somewhere on Coruscant, maybe somewhere political. Apart from hinting the return of Senator Orn Free Tarr this image was nothing to get excited about.
Rating = 2/5
4: Now this I rather liked. A 360 degree image of what looked like some sort of kitchens or even an army facility. Giving us the chance to look around a whole set using Quicktime, this image was rather satisfying, especially hinting the home of Clone Armies with what looks like comrade quarters in the distance.
Rating = 4/5
5: This could be a very revealing picture as long as that person wearing the make-up is a main character in Episode Two. On the other hand, if this is just an extra then it has nothing to offer at all. If Amidala is not the Queen of Naboo anymore then this could certainly be the person who takes over her, although it's highly unlikely. I would usually give a picture like this just 1/5, but I'm not entirely sure that that isn't just an extra who we might see as a pinprick within a crowd.
Rating = 2/5
6: Okay, okay, this was only supposed to be a joke, but still, I was very disappointed to find a boring picture of Mel's Drive-In from "American Graffiti" instead of a true Episode 2 Picture. Despite the fact that American Graffiti was directed by George Lucas, the image has absolutely no connection to Star Wars whatsoever. Even those possible podrace engines placed onto the back of the yellow car won't change my mind. This is rubbish.
Rating = 1/5
7: This picture of Obi-Wan lying on the floor possibly in pain doesn't give away that much excitement, but nevertheless, it was good to see a picture with Kenobi in it.
Rating = 3/5
8: This lovely picture of Natalie Portman sitting down was rather good, I thought. We get to see one of her costumes she'll be wearing and her position makes it look kind of like the same sort of scene from A New Hope where Luke looks at the suns of Tatooine, wondering about freedom. I can really imagine this shot of Amidala having a beautiful background placed upon it, in which she will be sitting on the edge of a cliff, looking at a wonderful horizon. Sounds stupid, I know, but this is meant to be a love story after all. Something cheesy like that is bound to happen.
Rating = 4/5
9: Pretty dull, I thought as this side-view of a likely extra for Episode II appeared. This woman wearing a veil and a long hanging headdress is pretty boring and unexciting, although seeing as it looks like one of the Queen’s new handmaidens I can’t call it complete rubbish.
Rating - 2/5
10: Another humorous picture, this one, although a lot better than the "Mel's Drive-In" one. Boba Fett (or maybe his father, Jango) dancing around with an umbrella was a rather funny site to see and as some have noticed, he is dancing on the same floor as where Obi-Wan is lying in Episode 2 Picture 7. The picture has caused more speculation towards the possible rain fight between Jango and Obi-Wan.
Rating = 3/5
11: When I first saw this picture I found it hard to work out what the hell it was of. But it wasn’t long before I realised that this was supposed to be a picture of Anakin Skywalker fighting a Sith Lord or Dark Jedi of some kind (played by Christopher Lee?). What looked like a double-sided lightsaber had caused many rumours around the net, mainly because it looked like the sabre was curved instead of straight. However, I believe that this is actually some sort of fake made by John Knoll to confuse fans and that is why the red sabre doesn’t look straight as it moves across the air. The way you can see Christensen’s face through his sabre looks rather odd too. Still, I found this picture very interesting and fun to think about.
Rating = 4/5
12: This circular picture of Tatooine was edited by John Knoll and after seeing the unedited picture on theforce.net I wonder why they didn’t just put the actual picture on there rather than the spiral version that has no excitement whatsoever. Not that the real picture does either. It’s just a dull picture of a desert with a few pieces of junk scattered around the place.
Rating = 2/5
13: WOW!!! A picture of George Lucas leaning over a railing in Fox Studios. Yippee! So exciting!
Rating = 1/5
14: This possible Bounty Hunter or Assassin made quite a good picture and those lights behind him/her caused speculation about a possible assassination within a nightclub in Coruscant. Seeing as we are going to see some new Bounty Hunters in Episode 2, this character could certainly be one of them.
Rating = 3/5
15: Not particularly exciting, but still this was the first clear picture we got of Anakin with his Jedi costume on. Not much else to see but a greyish patterned background.
Rating = 2/5
16: Not much here but a yellow circle with the shadows of heads belonging to anything from Anakin, Padme, a Neimoidian, Obi-Wan, a Droid, Aurra Sing, a Crew Member or whoever. It’s too difficult to say anything for certain, although this pic was quite good to study.
