I still feel link has a chance it's just i really like link and i will always love him. All you say might be true but i'm still sticking with him. i just don't like how Seph fans have seen glimpses of him in 1 video game and have already determined that he's SOOOOOO much greater than THE BEST, and yes i went and said it, the BEST video game protagonist EVER created. By no means would it be an easy fight, but Link is like a trillion times more resourceful than Seph.
Hopefully regardless of our opinions, both seph and link fans alike can agree that comparing the skills of the 2 characters is very difficult because 1 character is from a live action RPG and the other is from a turn based RPG.
Link swings like a wuss because you're supposed to find dodging patterns and different techniques to beat each enemy whereas Seph swings like Clubba Lang because 1 of his "turns" takes longer than 12 of Links swings. which is why i think determining an obvious winner is difficult.

i guess u didnt read my previous post. if sephiroth can haul a 300 ft snake (which would weigh considerably more than 50 tonnes) i think he could lift and swing his masamune which would weigh 50 lbs at the very most. i dunno how even die hard zelda fans can defend link in this situation. he doesnt stand a chance lol.

Okay this one ones just for Dracothe. If you were to take these two and make them fight in real life Link loses any kind of a chance he may of once had. Let me explain in you take away all the magic (and I suppose this means magic weapons and items) Link loses the power braclet, his magic wands and the faries. Sephiroth loses his materia but keeps his genetic enhancments since that had nothing to do with magic. So now you have a child with a sword suited to his weight and strength (not much in either case) and a highly trained geneticly enhanced soilder who has trained for years with his weapon of choice. So quite ironicly Dracothe your constant bitching about how Septh couldn't win in the real world simply screws Link that little bit more. Because even if you take away the enhancments Seph still has his training. Link only has a minute chance where he can use his magic items and faires Sephroth can fight just as well without them. Please think before you post Dracothe you're just making it harder on Link
