USH'S MATRIX GAME- General Discussion

Well, I'd personally like to get this disaster over and done with quickly...

Surviving is always good...

*shoots an Agent with Will's bow*

Well, things seem to be looking better now at least...

Well, inside anyway 😛

Yes, problem is you should have been doing this with Agents one level lower.

Yeeaaah well Agents suck and there's too damn many of them at the moment.

WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!

Well, apparently, once an Agent recovers from being vulnerable, its damage resets...

(which isn't fair...)

AND THIS REFRESH IS TAKING TOO DAMN LONG.

Don't worry Lana it will come evetually 😛

Yeah well we could have used it quite a few turns ago ermm I'm really screwed if it doesn't come up this next turn...

For serious...

Are we still supposed to go "Ush, Ush, a new Agent power!" like before? Because Straight Punch and Agent Attack and Throat Grab need to be added.

AgInt (ooh, nice) will be updated periodically. You'll probably find something has to be used a few times before it just gets given over.

Well, I know about how much damage you need to do to an Agent to make it vulnerable...and technically I've been straight-punched twice (even though only once in this game), and I'm pretty sure that's what the Agent did to Melis in the first assignment...I think Agent Attack might have been used more than once, too.

And something I'm a bit confused about!

When we state a swap for our next turn and it's a refresh, which happens first, the refresh or the swap?

I'm wondering because I reeeaaally need VG in and if I can get it in as soon as it refreshes that would be greatly helpful...

If you ask in advance for a swap at the end of a turn it comes first. Refresh check is after swaps.

Normally, I try and get swaps in from the start of the turn though. Can't do that if you already used up that swap, of course, and it's cheating to do it like that on a refresh turn.

Damn.

Oh well.

Yay for noticing more Agent-y things...seems to me that not only do they reset damage after getting back up from being knocked vulnerable, but their level also goes up.

And Agent Defense sucks.

You are correct, Madame.

Does what you just said Ush, mean that I cannot Tap, Swap and then get that power refreshed?
Or is that still OK?

Looking through things and I'm pretty positive that the amount of damage you need to do to make an Agent vulnerable is 30.

And I still say Agent Defense sucks...

As for Agent powers we've seen, so far we have:

- Agent Jump (used in the first assignment)
- Agent Attack
- Straight Punch
- Throat Grab
- Fling
- Agent Defense

I think that's all so far, anyway.

Okay, so I'm thinking of dropping CF and taking either HT or DiM. I've not used CF at all outside of dojo fights, and I could probably use another offensive power, as I've got all those auxillaries to help with defenses anyway.

I'm adding Intercept Punch to the list of Agent powers we've seen so far...

And have Agent Attack, Agent Defense, and Straight Punch been used enough for them to be added to the intelligence thread?
