USH'S MATRIX GAME- General Discussion

So I will remain a bit sceptical about her as well..... Melkor doesn`t want to be told thinks and just expect to believe, he has a very independent, even rebellious nature in this area.

Melis is unsure what to make of the Oracle. And I didn't know that we knew that much about Exiles, actually. My bad, if I said anything that implied ignorance...

And yeah, we needed to move faster. I'm surprised we got everyone out, actually.

So am I.

Yeah Team Suicide got out just fine
😗

If it is okay, Ush, I will put a link to Sennacherib`s Prism here. The stuff about Jerusalem/Zion is on the third Column.

Heh, I could go and see that myself, it's currently in Chicago, according to that page. Neat.

Ha, nice idea to make oneself immortal- put the description of your conquests like this, and you can still be famous thousands of years later.

Hehe. Remind me to do that. Even if my conquests are non-existant and no one knows who I am. Someone will find it eventually!

How far do you guys think the analogy between Sennacherib and the real person goes?

Well, for one, Sennacherib and Sennacheribot are Man and Machine, respectively...

...

I don't know much about Sennacherib, to be honest. doped

I'd never even heard that name before this game and didn't know there was actually a historical person with it until today, so yeah...

Well, I have forgotten about him as well, to be honest....I was just researching those Dioramas stuff- Wikipedia is a wonderful tool.

But razing cities always seemed like fun...yeah for OT game!

Wikipedia is a soul-sucker, I'll look up one thing and 3 hours later still be looking stuff up...but it'll have NO relation to what I was looking for originally. It's fun though 😛

Okay, seriously...why spiders?

Because they are sentinels.

Because squids would have been less threatening and too humorous. We would have died the moment we saw them...from laughing too much.

Makes sense. Annoys the hell outta me, but makes sense.

EDIT: I could have done with squids, though.

The squid name is only there because of the way that they fly, but in every other action and look, they are arachnids.

Spider shishkabob anyone?

But still! Spiders! Blech!

Speaking of Sentinels, though, apparently at the Museum of Science and Industry in downtown Chicago, they have one of them on display (movie prop, obviously). Needless to say...I need to go there 😄
