USH'S MATRIX GAME- General Discussion

No, we're just screwed because we have to deal with 3000 sentinels.

Yeah, now I get Ush's warning in the first Philo post...

Never thought I'd like 3000 Sentinels in comparison to something other than more than 3000 Sentinels. ermm

Well, let`s be optimistic- from now on things can get only better.

Or we could all die.

(I don't do optimism too well, I tend to leap to the worst possible conclusion and go from there 😛)

Though this is definately an interesting roleplaying experience.....I have never lost a character. Not to mention the fact that being ill with lethal disease and knowing that you would die soon is my perhaps greatest real life fear.....

Well, considering that being dead doesn't involve pain, suffering, or slavery to evil machines, it could be better from a certain point of view. 😛

Well, how do you know that this disease is not painful? And it is something else to be shot in combat and just die there- imagine that there is a disease eating you from inside....

Well, I'm still creeped out from those damned spiders. Gah.

This game certainly has the "screw with people's minds" aspect down...

Yes, I am positively surprised that this plot is so serious.....

That I'm not surprised about.

What I somehow am, which is strange as I played part of this last summer, is just how harsh it is. Even though I knew it was going to be very nasty, and we were warned that it was going to be, I really had no idea just HOW bad it was (and is) going to be.

This almost makes the Dark Side look like a walk in the park...

Yes, I wonder how Ush`s vampire game could develop....... though I don`t want to hijack this thread with references to yet another role playing game....

😂 yeah, we've gotten quite good at derailing this thread into talking about other stuff. Woohoo!

Yes, and I am getting jealous that you were playing this offline.....

Hehehe!

I only played up until a little after the start of the Monastery fight, so from there on out I've been as in the dark as everyone else. Though it was a lot of fun. I was the one that got to fight the Hunter in the Museum 😄

However, what's been annoying about that? I've been waiting since last June to find out what was behind the door. You guys thought the wait was bad, nothing compared to how long I've waited...😛

And I thought the Jedi mission on Cassilis was dark...

It must be said, this is quite medium on the harshness scale of my brother's stories... Melkor is right about Vampire.

It's for the sake of drama, of course.

I am just waiting for the right people to post in Philo, actually. We haven't really started yet, and hence I am holding off on combat too.

Of course, Ush, my character is going with the drama and he is reacting a bit emotionally, instead of humbly analazying every little wisdom behind the words of Lo QI.....

I was wondering why we hadn't started Combat yet. That makes sense.

I'm starting to see a bit of Heph's prophecy, I think...

Yeah, well, hurry up you Philo players! I want to shoot stuff.
