Karen looked at Syrenity and Justice. Not wanting to talk she turned into a crow and flew to Shadows shoulder.
"Karen can get shy." Jim said glanceing back to them.

Syrenity smiled, amused at the group's antics.

"It seems to me," she started slowly, "that no matter the result of our quest, I shall certainly enjoy the duration."

She laughed, a sweet, tinkling sound, and continued on her way.

Syrenity spun round and raced back towards Justice. She threw herself at him and closed her arms around his powerful neck.

"Hush... it was only an animal, we are under no threat."

She soothed him and continued to hold onto his body as he lifted himself onto his rear paws.

the lion looked at her then justice turned into a cat and jump on Syrenity shoulder snugging up to her neck

Jim led them out of the forest and walked along the highway. "We should have got a van or car..." he said silently.

Syrenity laughed aloud at Justice's amazing capabilities.... she reached up to her shoulder and stroked the beautiful cat behind its ears, then started to walk back down the path again after Jim.

Shadow was silent along the walk, he was totally unaware of what was happening around him, away in thought.

Syrenity watched Shadow's back as he walked ahead of her. Absent mindedly stroking Justice as she became lost in her musings, all she could concentrate on was the hunch of Shadow's shoulders, and how she could ease the obvious pain he was in.

Karen went back to human and looked at Shadow.
"Your scaring me..." She said frowning.

Shadows mind was concucting a plan, one he'ld set into action as soon as they found shelter. He only hoped he had everything he needed.

Karen looked at the ground as they walked further and further away from the camp then she heard Jim stop. "This is it, anyone have money, or should we break in?" He asked.

Shadow suddenly awoke from his daze. "Huh.....Wher............................Hey, Karen, how long've you been there?"

"Most of the walk...." Karen said worriedly.

"Wow....I must have really zoned out." Shadow said looking around, his voice happier than it had been before.

"Well now you can rest..." Karen said forcing herself to smile.

"Thanks...I'ld like that alot." Shadow smiled back, befoe his face turned serious again, "There's just something I need to do first. I need you...and a telepath for it to work..."
