The windshifter dropped her wall down as she stepped forward, and took the hand of their leader, the wise blind teenager. The other children turned, while one of them, another teenager whose hair was as white as snow but his skin as dark as coal, lifted an arm and motioned the others to run, whispering a warning, "They're coming for us... we better run."
The blind girl nodded her head and continued on running with the others while she was being led by the little blond windshifter. NYM 0, by now had recovered most of his strength, and turned to John, and Jez, then back to the others as he began running with them, seeing that they were the closest things to family for him. His great speed eventually allowed him to lead the pack...
Elyta McKiddie slowly woke up at the shrill sound of her alarm clock. She yawned, stretched, and whacked her alarm. Getting out of bed, she shuffled to her bathroom and took a quick shower. She got out and went to her closet, grabbing some clothes, and pulled them on. She went back to her bathroom and put in all her earrings. Then she went downstairs to her living room, grabbed her backpack, and headed to school.

He looked down at the boss, and lifted his head back up while they continued on running down the streets, he did not respond to the Boss. A few of them began dispersing in different sections, the cluster he was following had just opened a sewer hole, and started to go beneath the city, to hide from others, and to find safety the labryinth.
But a voice, that from the blind leader began to echo through his head, "We'll take you to our new home... boss..."
((ha ha yeah, but it does make sense though. The Gov't will not spend millions to keep the sewer -safe-, and with a city like New York, the sewers is a whole city in itself. Perfect way to hide, x-men mutants, or ninja turtles. lol))
Helicopters continued to move around the camp, searching for the other mutants, either to take them back or to destroy them. Their orders to them was that they were a menace to the general public, dangerous weapons that should be kept on check.
But a few of the soldiers thought otherwise. These were the guards who had family and friends that were mutants, and they knew they were just kids with gifts. Not curses.
"Hey you..." one of the soldiers whispered to Karen and her company, "I'm not going to hurt you... but come quickly, before they get you."
Jezebel stared out the window. "We didn't win." She said quietly. "It has just begun." She turned back to face John who was driving. "This is the Armageddon for mutants. We started something that was in the process long before we came. This war would have begun with or without us. We just happened to put the inevitable in motion." Her eyes glanced back out the window. "We only captured the boss of the New York camp. There are many more powerful men in the goverment who want us dead."

John looked over to Jez "Your right, i had forgotten. Do you think we can do it?" John asked as he pulled in to the apartment driveway.
