Real Life Mutants: Role Play

Karl tried not to notice her walking in, but he concentrated on finding the hunters. His infrared vision was tearing through the walls, showing several hunters moving up the staircae, down a halway, and coming up an elevator.

Jezebel's eyes began to glow. "Where are they?" She asked quietly.

"They'll be coming in the front door... get behind somthing!" he turned invisble again, and the sound of a gun clicking sounded.

She got behind the couch, the anticipation was horrible.

"They stopped at the wall to your left, inside the bathr- their placing explosives, be ready."

She knew there was going to be tremendous heat, so she lowered her body temperature even more. Her eyes were glowing brightly. She heard footsteps outside the front door, they were light and almost silent.

No longer silent, the entire bathroom exploded, and hunters poured through. Karl was to close to the explosion... he was badly burned, and knocked ack far by the explosion, and his eyes were closed.

Because Karl was still invisible she didn't see him get injured. She peered over the couch, firing optic rays but only freezing a couple of the hunters solid, the others had shields.

karlmoaned and opened his burned eyes, it was extremely painful. He turned visible, and then his hand burned with flame. Slowly the flame expanded into a ball, thenflew down the room and into the destroyed bathroom and exploded, burning hair and skin, and shattering the iced hunters.

Jezebel screamed as she ducked beside the couch. The tremendous heat wave made her body temperature rise past its limit. She tried to bring her temperature back down but it hurt too much and she was powerless and weak.

Karl fired another blast, andslowly walked up and threw himsle fon JEzebel, taking the brunt of the extremely hot wave...

He blocked the heat and some of her power came back, but not nearly enough to finish this battle by herself. They were in the shadow of the couch, she grabbed him and closed her eyes and they appeared upstairs in the bathroom. She breathed heavily through her mouth as beads of sweat collected on her skin. "H.. Hot... Can't.... breathe."

"You'll be fine... trust me, you won't letyourself die..."

She laid on the tile floor of the bathroom, her chest heaving. Slowly her eyes closed as her body shut down to deal with the heat while she laid there unconscious. It would take awhile for her body temperature to return to normal.

Two more hunters walked into the room and shot at Karl while he was standing up. Karl leapt into them knocking them on there backs. He stabbed one in th chest.

As Jezebel laid on the floor she didn't even hear the fight only feet away from her.

He heaved one of the dead into a group of hunters, the last group of hunters and then blew them back with a blast of fire. They were dead. "Jezebel?"

Fei's attempt to subdue the hunters from outside was useless, as he was able to attack 1 by surprise he realise the other were not so easy he experince in battle was limited. he suffered tremendous injuries before being captured. The ground was filled with bright blue blood. They had left him tide up in the on the street while they charged in the building

Jezebel didn't answer, but her skin began to get pale as her body temperature slowly lowered.
