professor x said in his cerebro file that in order to maby kill wolverine u would have to stay away from him and have many people shooting very high power beams at him till he could not move any more. then u have to cut off his head and move it very far from the body.( that with out metal in his body thou with it u can not cut off his head.) also wolverien can die he just does not stay dead. u can shut he brain off and his heart yet sooner or later they will heal and start up again like they have many times befor. to tell u the truth im not sure how u can keep him dead. leaving him in the sun would work. unless jean came along and pull him out of the sun which actauly happen lol. they have not shown if his healing has any limits now that it been up graded fruther so it any one guess
The Xavier protocols are the best way to kill each X-Men. But you can kill Wolverine in a bunch of different ways. The easiest is getting some potent blast to completely incinerate the flesh from his bones. Sentinels have done this, King Thor did this. Might as well stick with what works.
I also happen to think that depriving his body of oxygen for a really long time would kill him too. The body needs oxygen and although his healing factor could keep him alive for much longer than other people, if you let him float in space for a few days, I think his body would not be able to regenerate itself.
Plus, if you did a lot of heavy damage, his body could theoretically not be able to regenerate and heal itself for the lack of nutrients. I mean, the body only has so many reserves it can store until it runs out. You slice out his guts a couple of dozen times, maybe it takes a hundred, I think his body would run out of the proteins and amino acids that are necessary to fuel his healing. Unlike the Hulk, who apparently derives his power from another universe, Wolvie probably just has an insane level of accelerated healing that still depends on basic scientific biology. Metaphorically, his gas tank could run out of fuel given enough damage.
Apparently, nobody has come close to doing this, but i don't think the theory is that far off.

Wolverine can truly die (stay dead) with massive internal injuries, such as if you kept shooting him with a shotgun at point blank range, he would die after maybe...I dunno, 10-20 shots.
He can die if you suffocate him. If you just strangle him or lock him in an airtight room.
He can die if you disintergrate everything else on his body besides his skeleton. Which has happened before. One Sentinel blast killed Wolverine pretty quickly. No dramatics, he was just dead.
He can be drowned. Wolvie's healing factor is good, but it can't survive with his lungs full of water.
I bet if you left something, say...a light pole, giant axe, etc....inside of him, it wouldn't kill him, but he'd probably pass out from the pain. Think about it, if he had a giant spear-like object through him that he couldn't get out, he'd heal around it, but he'd have a gaping void where organs should be.
Actually, that might kill him, since massive internal damage of the organs can kill him.
And I know he doesn't, but he should die everytime Hulk hits him with everything he has (oh wait, that's right. Hulk has never hit him full force). Or Juggernaut for that matter. Or Wendigo. Or Colossus. Or Thing.
You know, Wolverine should just be dead after any class 100 people hit him. I know his skeleton won't break, but he'd would EXTRAORDINARINGLY MASSIVE INTERNAL DAMAGE from a strong hit from any of these guys.

dude ur straight up wrong. soffication may work yet when u let up his heart my start up again. wolverine had been shot bye a whole room full of gusy with machince guns and shot guna he was fine he did not even fall over. shooting wolverine can't kill him so that one underestimation uve made. also he been blown up plenty of tiems is still fine with both his ehart and brain dead yet they start up again. if u read wolverine comic u would know that bullet can't kill him. massive internal damge does kill him he just does not stay dead his heart and brain start right up again. I can't even count the number of times I seen in comic wolverien putting his internal organs back in his body

So very very true..... A hulk punch would do more damage to a target than a grenade or a stick of dynamite. Can Wolverine survive a stick of dynamite going off in his lap? hell no, but a wall that could take a point blank dynamite blast couldn't take a hulk or juggernaut punch. A Hulk punch SHOULD make his bones exit his body......
But Batman can't beat him.
wolverine has had a man diffrent types of explosive dropped on him dropp on him lol. he has had a castle filled with gas blow up with him in the middle non of that has killed him or kept him down very long well the castle one took off most of his blood skin and stuff he was not nocked out but he was pritty beat uphe was fine thou. his body is tougher then a normal humans. thats what all the role playin ggames say at least.
non of his gadgets will have any affect on wolverine. also batman sneaks up on his enemies which won't happn there no way batman can sneak up on wolverine he will hear and smell him a mile away. also there good chance wolverien will just sneak up on batman and kill him fast and easy. if they go for a fhero vs hero show down batman dies in under a minut. also batman fought dare devil and he kept tryign to sneak up on dd but it never worked. the ended up duking it out but that ebcause dd and batman are equal batman stornger dd faster both about same in fighting ability. wolverine on a whole other playing field then them he better in every way ecpt for intel.
ya yet batman could not take dd because he new nuthign about dd and dd surprized him over and over cuz batman could not even hit him with a single item. batman knows his teamates he knows nuthing about mutants he can't make any thing to beat wolverine. also who says batman knows who he fighting they meet on the street batman has nuthign in his belt that could stop or even hurt wolverine and thats saying if he was actauly able to hit wolverine
