Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is reportedly hunting for a home in Britain following his high- profile split from Jennifer Aniston.

The actor is tipped to appear in a movie about a real-life attempted raid on London's Millennium Dome, and sources hint he will use his time in the capital to search for a home - most likely in fashionable west London, reports website itv.com.

An English base will also move Pitt closer to Angelina Jolie, with whom he is rumoured to be romantically attached and who lives full-time in Buckinghamshire, on the outskirts of London.

Pitt was last year rumoured to have bought a retreat in England's East Sussex countryside, where Hollywood pal Johnny Depp and musician Paul McCartney both own homes.
