The Beatles

If you weren't so easily insulted, things would have been easier.

If you wouldnt insult so easily, and if you wouldnt go to any beatles thread to discuss and deny their influence with the same arguments and mike patton mentions over and over again, things would be even easier.

Talking about the theme of this thread, i think that John and Paul were two of the best songwritters ever, with Dylan and a few more. George was almost as good as them, in fact, in the last time of the group, the most best songs were from george.

I get how much you love The Beatles and never say anything more to back it up than the stuff you usually say, but the only way I could ever please you is to agree, so I suggest you just ignore my posts and I'll ignore yours, because your idiocy is spirit-draining.

Ok? Good.

You are asking me to ignore your posts? What a easy thing, because i wasnt never interested in them.

I somehow doubt that people that misspell the word "genius" should be entitled to judge who are genii.

Hey, great point , dude. If you forget to post a letter in a word, you dont know a shit about the meaning of that word and its stuff.

Nah, genius is one of the few words that applies to though.

Come now, surely someone remembers the Rutles. Neil Innes? Eric Idle? The ultimate fusion of Beatles and Montey Python?
Ron, Dirk, Stig, and Barry?
The hit albums Ouch!, Sgt. Rutter's Only Dart's Club Band, Tragical History Tour, Let It Rot?

Of course I know the Rutles. Well, I know them more or less.

"All you need is cash" is a good mockumentary, and the clip "I must be in love" is classic imo. And funny too.

Well, Eric Idle wearing a wig is always hilarious.

I'm just so ****ing pissed at the Beatles for ripping them off.

Rutles are a tribute band.

Rutles are a tribute band.

More a parody.

It's like, these awesome prefab four come along and invent the Rutland sound, and then these four liverpuddlian wannabes come out of nowhere and mimic their whole career.

if george was in another band, he would have been one of the greatest.

"and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make"

So I spent all day in the car high on the phenominal sounds of The Beatles.

I have no words to express my appreciation of this masterful group of jolly old boys.

So I want to make a thread as a tribute to them all!

"Because the wind is high it blows my mind."

"Waits at the window, wearing a face she keeps in a jar by the door"

"Little darling I feel that ice is slowly melting"

"For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder"

"We talked until two,And then she said,‘It’s time for bed’."

"Life is very short, and there’s no time,
For fussing and fighting, my friend,

I have always though that it’s a crime,
So I will ask you once again."

"And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be."

"All these places had their moments,
With lovers and friends I still can recall,
Some are dead and some are living,
In my life I’ve loved them all."

😊

"Don't let me down" was my favorite song from them as a kid. 😍

Music threads go in the music forum, and there's already a thread for the Beatles...
