Kay here goes:
Despite the time of day, the alleyway was abandoned by all human life. Everyone knew to stay away from this guy.. Except for him, of course. Joe walked down the alley and glanced casually at his pocketwatch while doing so. 10:30. He was late, and for the second time this week. He quickened his pace slightly and opened the battered old door to his right. He stepped inside and jogged up the stairs to the third floor. Pausing to take a deep breath, he walked into the door ahead of him. It was dark inside, and it took him a few moments to adjust to the light.
"You're late," came the voice from behind the desk.
"I know, the boys back at the hideout had a big fight over a poker game and I had to break it up. They would've torn the place down," Joe answered calmly, though he was starting to feel a little on edge.
"You know what happens to people who can't pull their own weight around here. You're late one more time and you'll be sorry you ever worked for me."
The man behind the desk stood up and walked over to Joe and slipped him a folded-up piece of paper. "This is a delicate job. You screw this one up and you're dead, plain and simple."
Joe nodded twice and left. Once back out in the alley, he opened the paper up and read it to himself... Great. He was supposed to kidnap some girl.. The note didn't say why they wanted her. He looked over her description--long, curly blond hair... (the note describes more, but I don't feel like typing it all) in any case, she sounded pretty. And what's more, she was going on a date with a guy nicknamed "Tommy-two guns.." He'd heard about him, and how dangerous he was. For a moment he considered not doing the assignment but then thought better of it. He would be there tonight.
Joe walked down the street, considering how to get this job done. It would be tough. Just shooting the girl would be much easier, but the note had been clear in saying at least one thing: whatever they wanted her for, she was no good to them dead. He went back to his appartment to think. He ran her description through his head again. She sounded familiar, but where had he seen her before? He didn't remember..

~yes this should be a very intresting thing, but joshua will only cary a hand gun on this date, i think we should skip ahead~
Angelina changed into her black dress. It cut just bellow her knees, and was quite revealing on top. She slipped on a pair of black velvet high heels and a golden anklet. She did her make up carefully and put her hair up in an updo. She then got up, slipping on her short leather jacket and grabed her pocketbook as she walked out her bedroom and downstairs. Luckily no one was in sight, and she was able to slip out of the house without any questions. She saw headlights in the distance, hoping they were Joshua's. It was cold out, and she didn't have much on.
Joe went to his closet and got on a suit jacket and a hat. He placed a handgun in a holster inside the jacket, stepped out of the appartment, and headed for the restaurant he was supposed to go to.
Once there, he got a small table in a quiet corner of the restaurant. It was an expensive place, and was lit mostly by candles. The waiter asked him if he wanted a drink, and he answered: "No thanks, I'm waiting for a... friend.."
He checked his watch. It was 7:00. They ought to be here soon.
