She would have laughed, but it hurt too much. She got up grabbed Andy's coat jacket he put on the back of the chair and she buttoned it. It came down to her thighs, but it was better then nothing. As she walked to the window she stumbled a little. She had lost a lot of blood, and if she didn't make it to a hospital she would die. She followed Alex to the window. In the dim light her skin was very pale.
They reached the car. He opened the unlocked dor and put thenear uncoicnes Angel in the car. "We've gotta get to the hospital." Alex got in the Driver's eat and started the car. He pulled out quikcly, put in a cd, his favorite cd, 3Doors Down. "Kryptonite..."
The car sped down the streets quickly, down to the same hospital that they had met earlier.
The doctors hooked her up to an IV and watched her weak heartbeat blip on the monitor. They began to operate, giving her new blood and stitching her wounds.
She spent two hours and forty-five minutes in the ER. When she was wheeled out Alex wasn't allowed to see her yet. They observed she was raped and had to check for STDs and later on they would check for pregnancy. She was still asleep through all of this.
The doctor finally walked into the waiting room where a distraught Alex waited.
"Only time will tell." He told the young man who he assumed was her boyfriend. "I'm sorry."
The doctor looked at him strangely for a moment and then down at the clipboard. "Well, we have to contact her legal gaurdian about her insurance information." He muttered, more to himself then to Alex. He then looked back up at him, adjust his glasses. "There's one other thing. We noticed she was raped, and the offender didn't use any protection. She might be pregnant, I'm sorry to be the one to have to tell yout this. Luckily the STD tests came back fine, she's clean, but please don't tell her that she might be pregnant. She doesn't need any more stress. God knows she went through enough." He looked at Alex, making sure he understood this. "You can go see her now. She's in room 513. She'll still be asleep from the medication."
