I am reading the book Pandora.. I dont like it. It is good.. but Pandora dont have such an interesting personality Lestat has, and her style is so simple..
that is why I like those books: every book has their own style, referred to the authors. Anne Rice did a good work. 😊

i agree - i prefer Lestat's narrations myself 😊 much more interesting deep and confusing

Okay, ignore Interview, it happens to be the single most boring book on the planet. When you get to Memnock, a whole scene towrds the end that has to do with an 'eye' will bother the crap out of you. Specially when the mail thing happens later.

Oh, and you have got to read The Vampire Armand. I totally luv that guy and I've no idea why, but that book was incredably interesting...

i find interview had to be rather dragging cuz
1) it was narrated by louis - think about it.about louis's character.you realy think a story by him is gonna be interesting?you've gotta stick to the character,honey.
2)it's the introduction to a world,and as we all know,intros are usually oring,but indispensible (sp?)...i know a WHOLE lotta people who were totally turned off by LOTR just cuz the 1st half of FOTR was boring (to them,cuz they've never been introduced to the world before)

and i think the symbolism attached to the eye is really poignant!!

armand...i don't quite like him personally...but i guess i can sympathize with him...he really had a tough life...marius is okay too i think....ah basically i see the good and bad in everyone!!!!!!!!!!!oh well 🙂
