Yes, there's the Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales 1 and 2, and The War of the Ring trilogy

and he wrote some other stories that weren't about middle earth

There are tons and tons of books about Professor T and his works. I have a "Guide to middle Earth" its like a complete data collection of the books. 🤪

i just saw the movie this past weekend, and it had been quite awhile since i had been to see a movie in the theaters, and boy was in for a treat when i saw this one. According to my friend, TTT was quite alot of storytelling, because you meet so many new people! Anywho I was completely blown away by ROTK! I didn't really have any doubts of course, i had read the trilogy, but it had been several years since so the movies have been great, I haven't seen TTT yet, but i plan to just get the feel of the whole trilogy. I thought the battles in ROTK were truly awesome, and the way Legolas takes out people riding the Oliphauts, or whatever they're called, the slides off the trunk, I wanted to start clapping, then Gimli says, "That still only counts as one!" And everyone laughed a good belly laugh! It was great! I also didn't expect the battle to start so quickly and with bad guys leading the charge, of course that made it so much better when the good guys show up! And then when Aragorn jumps out of the ship followed by the army of the dead was great! I would definitely give 11 out of 10! A truly good movie and ending to the trilogy!

ROTK was ok. It was pretty good. Nothing really ground-breaking in my book. It was kind of predictable though. The ending was very good and left no questions even though it was kind of long. I give it a 7/10.

I think 7/10 is about the lowest grade yet

That was a little harsh on Peter Jackson. I think it was the best of the three and if it only gets a seven then I hate to see what the others get.

it was a good film no pther will compare to it

Exactly, there isn't really any other fantasy movies like that. It's an awesome movie though, one of the best that I've ever seen.

LOTR ROTK was the best out of the 3!!! I totally sobbed at the end! 🙁 But thats just me, i'm pretty sencitive.

CELABRATION!!!!!!!! Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King has won 100% of their Golden Globe Awards!!! Let's hope this bodes well for the Oscars
