Most disturbing moment in a movie?

One disturbing moment that sticks out in my head.

Was in "the mothman prophecies". any part where a glimpse of the moth man is showed is disturbing.

Not many people liked Saw2 but the scene where she gets thrown in the bed of needles freaked me out 😘

Braveheart, where M. Gibson (a.k.a. William Wallace) went into that Lord's room at night, mounted on a horse, woke the guy up after having a nightmare about Wallace, only to get his face literally crushed and broken in clear view by Wallace's steel spiked-ball weapon club. You also clearly heard the squishing and cracking of facial bones and muscles crack and snap as you visually saw the guys face cave in, lol

That part was definetely disturbing when I first saw it.

The 2nd half of "from dusk till dawn' is very disturbing.

I agree that scene In Event Horizon when they showed video of what happened to the crew.

Jacob's ladder- the hospital scene scared me

I really have to say i am surprised that only one person named the Guinea Pig series of films

All seriously disturbing, graphic, gross.. these words just dont to them justice.

they are just plain strange.. so strange that (I think it was charlie sheen) took a copy of flower of flesh and blood to the cops convinced it was a genuine snuff film...

anyways.. there is a site dedicated to the guinea pig films... not sure what the addy is.. but gives a fair bit of info and afew pics... Google it ppl... Google it!!!!

The Passion of Christ had a few disturbing scenes in it also.

When I watched The Forgotten, the car crash scene actually made me yell "Watch Out! " cause it was done really well.

Another scene from that movie was the woman getting snatched from the sky. That was totally unexpected. left me gobsmacked.

I'll get back to you on this. I've never seen some of the movies listed on this thread. There's another movie called Wolf Creek that's coming out soon that looks good.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, when Henry and Otis video tape the killing of that family, and when Otis is hacked up in the bathtub.

I cringe every time I watch Stir of Echoes and that scene comes up where the girl is being attacked and her finger presses down so hard on the floor her fingernail pops off. I gag every time i see it.

plus also the movie 'irreversible'. two scenes in particular. the head bashing scene(made me nauseus, first movie eva to make me feel that) . and the rape scene, truely horrifying/ lasts about 5 minutes, maybe more

Also, I finally watched "Happiness", after the numerous recommendations by my fellow KMC'ers. It really is a funny and equally disturbing flick. I thought that the scene when Dr. Maplewood confesses to his son, Billy, about his pedophelia was kinda disturbing.
