Most disturbing moment in a movie?

Most of 'The Shining' could qualify here. 🙂

Requiem For A Dream: the finishing montage, utterly haunting.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest: the smothering scene.

American History X: the curb stomp scene, the attack on the shop scene and the shower rape scene.

erm, the whole birth scene in KNOCKED UP

The whole dance scene in Silence of the Lambs.

I was laughing and slightly creeped out at the same time...

All of Pan's Labyrinth, while artistic and unique, struck me as disturbing.

Queen of the Damned. 😖

That was a cool scene

Not a lot of Lynch fans here apparently.

The most disturbing part in any movie is the part where there is a clown...*hides*

Actually you just reminded me of Eraserhead as you said that.

The Shining is now a runner-up.

I dunno, the whole of the first Mad Max film left me feeling kinda sick.

EDIT: And not because it was bad.

When Ned Beatty gets ass raped in Deliverance.
