M15+ =reccomended for mature adiences 15 years and over
MA = only for 15 years and over, if under 15 accompinied by parent
R 18 + = Restricted to adults..18 years and over
my mom is strict too. she recently let me start watching PG13 (i'm 14), but only if theres not sex or anything, and i'm only allowed to watch R if shes there with the remote in her hand (finger on the fast forward button) or a pillow to "sheild my innocent eyes with" lol. she always checks to see why theyre rated that too. she let me watch once upon a time in mexico cause there was no sex (though the swears threw her, lol) an i really wanted to see troy so she let me.
