yeah , that is a bit weird. but i listened the part were the writers tell about the movie, and well their excuse is that the ship is cursed, so that doesn't really matter, and more important, the ship has uuhhmm peddles, or however you call them, so that''s why the're faster!!anamaria sais something like that too, first you think they are getting away, and then, when the BP puts the peddles in the water she sais: "it was a good plan, untill now" (or something like that)
