He might be alive or he might not. Maybe they'll go into that storyline in PotC 2. There are rumors that Jakc will have a daughter or a niece and Will and Elizabeth will have children. One of my friends wondered who Jakc would have a daughter with and we got to talking and brainstorming and though that maybe it could be Anna Maria (the female pirate on the black pear).

They had something between them and it could happen again, or Jack could find some pirate woman or he could settle down and lay low for awhile. Who knows what's in store for the sequel. Are there really supposed to be a PotC 3 and 4?
