Les Thugs cover of the Dead Kennedys Moon over Marin, The Adolescenets cover of John Lennon's Instant Karma, Minor Threat's cover of the Monkee's Steppin' Stone.
Worst covers-
William Shattner covers the Beatles' Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Flipper cover Metallica's Sad but True
Lila Prinsen covers Nirvana's Negative Creep
Sister Double Hapiness cover the Dead Kennedy's Holiday in Cambodia
Also skinny Puppy covered Tainted Love alot better than Manson did, long before......Fear Factory's cover of that Gary Numan song Cars....NIN has a "cover" of Carly simons Youre so Vain. The Misfits covbers metallica did are their only strong point in my opinion, aside from Master of puppets and Ride the lightning. And in conclusion I hope and pray that punk covers would just die off....first off radio punk is not punk but pop, secondly, theyre all the same...played a little faster than the original and with shitty vocal tracks. The only exception is the cover of walk like an egyptian....not that it is good...just amusing
Not done yet....
Kittie covering Run like hell was great
