Favourite/Best Scene/Movie

My favorite part was from the new movie. When Aragon gets the Anduril (was Narsil) sword, he then ties it to his horse before he going into the caves. He then enters the caves holding a different sword (his original) and he lets his horse run off with Anduril still tied to it. You can see the sword's handle when the horse runs off. I just thought that was funny. Or any scene involving Frodo after Sam beats the Spider. There is a cut on Frodo's cheek, but it moves from the right side of his face to the left and back. If you watch all the ending scenes (like mount doom) you see that the cuts don't remain consistent.

Now, now all movies have mistakes in them. 😉

It is fun to see them tho. 🙂

-Gandalf and the Balrog in Khazad-Dhûm and their fall.
-Gollum's dead...His joy while dies with the ring in his hand.
-The temptation of Galadriel and her transformation as a Dark Elven Queen....Amazing....She could be the powerest character in Middle Earth
-Galadriel smilying in the extended version of TTT and in ROTK
-Nazgul leaving Minas Morgul
-Ent's last charge

And...the Wargs, Thorondor, Shadowfaz and all the cute Zoo of the trilogy.

The friendly walk of Gandalf and Saruman in Isengard is perfect too.
The last friendly talk of the two last Istari 🙂

Ah...And the siege of Minas Tirith and the ride of the Rohirrim in Pellenor Fields...

Actually, in the fellowship I have another. When Gandalf falls and he says "Run, you fools," and lets himself fall. Then right after that Borimir yells "ARAGORN!" and everything slows down. And hes dragging the hobbits out. Orc arrows are landing everywhere and legolas downs one then he runs too and its just Aragorn staring at where Gandalf was then he runs out as well, Orc arrows on his heels. It's just so cool, and the music is PERFECT for this scene and its all slow motion and stuff. Another example of how Peter Jackson makes things so good.

How could anyone just choose one? I don't even know where to start...

Well I have 2. Even though there both sad scene's... anywho. The first one is when Haldir died at Helms Deep, just a really sad moment when it happened, but the music and the expression on face were just amazing. And the second one was when Boromir died. The looks on the rest of the fellowship is priceless, i was so sad when he died. But those to scene's really just stand out in my mind so much.

The Beacons Of Gondor

Yeah, the beacons were really cool, but were there people just hanging around on the mountains waiting to light it? Because that would be pretty boring after a day or so.

i liked the fight between frodo gollum and sam at the fiery pit.....it was cool and climactic and finalizing...i liked the battle scenes but it didnt seem realistic....too many stars got through unscathed, and the dwarf and elf counting their slain? too unprobable for me (cool, but unprobable)
i also liked the opening scene of RotK where it shows the fall of smeagol....im one of those guys who likes to see the end result first then find out how it came to be so that was a dream come true

man, ur so right. i love having the threads aobut how much people like the movie instead of judge it so much cause it isnt the book.

Oh let's see. There are many scenes that I love.

The love scene between Aragorn and Arwen.

The fight at Amon and the death of Boromir. That was an intense and also very touching moment.

The fight between Gandalf and Balrok at the opening of TTT. I loved the music during that scene. Very moving!!!

Gandalf's appearance to Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas in Fangorn.

The scene where Treebeard sings a song to the hobbits. That song made me cry.

The scene at Helms Deep where Legolas asks Gimli if he should get him a box. lol

The arrival of Gandalf and the riders of Rohan with the sun behind them.

The breaking of the dam.

The argument between Gimli and Legolas, about who killed the most Urki.

The scene where Pippin and Merry find the storeroom of food and barrels of pipe weed. lol

The scene where Legolas takes down the ??? (simliar to "elephants"😉.

The scene where Sam is holding Frodo, on their way up Mt Doom.

The departure of Frodo. That was so sad, but I loved it anyway.

the lighting of the beacons was the best outta the scenes suggested in this topic. the music was just mind blowing, no arguments.
