this is off topic but someone told me that i didnt have a life coz i talk about lotrs to them and on the internet to all u guys and if im not doing that im readin or watchin it

but i think it is a great film and book that deserves to be talked about, its not my thought that they are weird and dont like it

they are the ones that have no life, one of them likes flash dance and to me thats sad as i thought it was crap and compare that the LOTRs HELLO no contest

What scene, extended or unextended of the three movies did yall think was best. I cant seem to stop thinking of when Helms Deep is falling and Aragorn says "ride out with me" and they ride out and he remembers "look to my coming on the 5th day, at dawn, look to the east" and he looks and Gandalf is at the top of the hill. Then he (gandalf) rides down into an Army of Orc spears and emerges later unscathed 😄. It's just so tight. Peter Jackson is just so good.

But anyway, whattya guys think?

Its hard to say, but i would have to go with the opening scene from TTT when Gandlaf was fighting the balrog while falling into the underground lake. Wicked

how about one from each film...

in the fellowship, the secret council scene... the extended one...
in the TT, the part when legolas stuck his hand out and just hopped on the horse like nobody's bussiness, just befor they f***ed up the riders of eisengard...
in rotk, the part where legolas f***s up that big a$$ elephant, just took it down like nothing...

i like so many scenes from lotr... too long to post them all... these are my most faves...

I have several absolutely-favs -
The Nazgul leaving Minas Morgul in FoTR,
The Elves arriving at Helms Deep (though I dont like the content of the scene),
Gollum talking to Sméagol,
The Ride of the Rohirrim in RoTK,
The arriving of the Mûmakil and the Ships of the Corsairs of Umbar,
The camera-zoom before Gollum is tortured in Barad-dûr,
Galadriels forseeing with Elrond in TT,
The beginning of the Battle of the Hornburg,
The Last Alliance, or better the whole prologue,
Well, actually the whole film.

That's such a difficult question! I'd probably say either when Pippin looks into the Palantir, when Frodo and his friends first encounter the Ringwraith or the Mines of Moria.

But then again, I can think of hundreds more too!!😄😄

The opening sequence to the whole trilogy at FOTR, with The Battle of the last Alliance of Men etc against Mordors army and when Sauron's ring got sliced from his finger

Yeah, I liked that scene a lot. I would have to say Pelannor Fields... maybe. Well, I'll think about it. I liked all of it.

Oh, wait, now I know. When Gollum leads Frodo and Sam to the black gate. I loved the trolls and all the special features. I absolutely loved it.

I will narrow it down to one per film:

FOTR: This just recently changed! The entire last battle with the orcs. The whole scene is amazing. I realized it when i saw it on the big screen again.

TTT: The Flooding of Isengard, or when Aragorn and co. find Gandalf in Fangorn.

ROTK: The whole movie! Okay okay, When Aragorn says "My friends, you bow to noone." and then everyone bows to the hobbits.
