Yeah. The pacing near the end felt a little rushed, but all in all, best movie I have ever seen. My favorite scenes
Spoiler:
: "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES THE END OF THE DAYS OF MEN HAVE COME BLAH BLAH BLAH *Bam* *biff* *smack* "Prepare for War"
Weaving looks like he's really about to cry at Arwens wedding *sniff*
Grey Havens scene (so so sad)

My crowd was mostly good except sometimes when id be crying they'd be laughing. I was like WTF? this isnt funny! And some girl was snickering at the fact that Frodo kissed Sam on the forehead before he departed for the Grey havens...I want to give her a punch. 😠

THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS AMAZING! I LOVED IT ALL!!
Every single scene of the witch king , the most Charismatic nazgul of them all. When they showed him putting on his armor and talking about his past i cryed literally. He is my favorite bad guy of all time and seeing him with his fell beast s tail rapped around the osgiliath tower all triumphent so great. the movie was perfect , shelob impressive , the battles spectacular , and the burning of denethor and smeagol/gollum very very shocking. I cannot get smeagols face and body out of my head when he burns in the mordor pits very very sad. The only only thing i can complain about and im sure all of you are with me on this one is the missing of the mouth of sauron. I heard he wouldnt be in the film but i didnt really believe it. When aragorn approaches the gates of baradur with the others i was on the edge of my seat waiting for spence to making his debut ,but alas he didnt. Very mad i was distracted from that missing scene most of the battle of mount doom. Im looking forward to seeing the dvd extended features , great film great great great good i love it I will see it again. BEST PICTURE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY!!
The number one scene that gave me chills for 5 minutes and is doing so right now is the scene where Aragorn told the hobits they bow for no one. After everything they went through and how big af a part they played that was such a rewarding scene. Also anytime Sam was in a scene was awesome: The spider slaying, the small orc fight, carrying Frodo, beating the crap out of Gollum on many occasions, all very good. Legolos, once again, is the man with the whole Elephant scene (or whatever that thing's called).
To me there where no bad scene or parts it's all gold, except for these annoying girls that sat in a row ahead of me clapping everytime they saw Legolos or Aragorn. The people at my theatre clapped everytime something good happened, that pissed me off so much, it took me right out of the movie. I can't wait for the extended version and to play the video game.
The only thing about the story I didn't like is when Frodo fails to throw the ring in. This is understandable because of the rings power, but then it fell in by accident. I think a better ending would have been if they planned to give the ring to Gollum and at the right moment Sam bull rushes him in. The only reason I think this is because Frodo gets praised for destroying the ring when he intended to keep it. Really Gollum saved the day.
All and all this was the most triumphant movie ever. Such a good ending to such a good trilogy. I can't wait for "The Hobit"
No I'm very glad they kept the end this way. It is the best. Frodo would never be able to destroy the ring, not after all the time he has carried it. No one would be. And yes, Gollum did kind of save the day. But that's partly because of Frodo, because he pitied Gollum and let him live, while others would have killed Gollum.
One of the most beautiful pieces is where Aragorn sings. I already heard it on the soundtrack, but in the movie it's even better. And of course Pippin singing was very nice.
I liked the suprise effect when Aragorn's called to Theoden's tent, and than you see someone in a dark cloak, and everyone ofcourse thinks it's Arwen, but then it's Elrond. Great idea.
There were not so many parts with Elves in the movie though. I expected a beautiful wedding and all, but it didn't come, just a kiss.
The Undead reminded me of POTC, 😆

I don't post much and am still coming down from this movie but...
My theater clapped at LEAST 6 separate times and at perfect moments...it was crazy. Half the theater was dressed up too lol...
One moment that I don't see yet (skimmed some so sorry if it is mentioned)
The lighting of the beacons and when Theoden was told. There was that moment I had doubt of what he would say but without hesitation he was the King I hoped he would be. I was ready to suit up there....
