Under the Sea...

The creatures ((Thay is now begin taken by a DEMON!!! MUHAAHAA)) eyes fell upon the sword of light. its dark mouth fell open. "No!"He swung at Ewan again, and then the darkness fell away... Thay was normal again.

Thay's sword didn't hit Ewan, but it did hit Lila. It scraped against her side, not penetrating any organs, but scraping against her skin, and oozing blood. She fell to the sand in pain.

Ewan rushed to Lila and knelt ((what merpeople do)) next to her head. "Are you alright?"

Thay looked at Lila. "What... what happened!? Are you okay? oh my god." He start to cry.

She nodded to Ewan, but as soon as Thay swam to her side she backed away. "Don't come near me!" She said as she held her hand against her wound.

"Come on, let's get to a doctor.." Ewan took her hand and swam away with her.

His moth closed. He felt... nothing. His emotions were overwhelming his pwoer. "I have one last present for you. It under your pillow in your bedroom." Thay swam out of the palace, leaving behind his friends and family, and the woman he loved. He hated beign king.

She followed, holding her hand to her side in pain. Blood made the water she passed a little murky by making it a stream of red. With her other hand she held his.

She heard Thay, but she didn't look up. She didn't understand what was going on, but she didn't want to be in this position anymore. She was so confused.

Ewan watched as the king swam away. "My lord, where are you going?!"

He heard the deadcalling him... he didnt want to lvie anymore. He swam and swam away frmo his problems. He didnt look back ,he just swam.

Ewan swam after him as fast as he could. He caught up and looked the king in the eye. "Why are you doing this?" He demanded. "Nobody here wants you dead!"

Lila stopped swiming and looked up at Ewan. She could tell he wanted to go after Thay. She kissed his lips. "Be careful." She told him quietly. "I'll be able to get to the doctors by myself."

Thay turned around and glared at Ewan. Tears still streaming down his face. "Ewan... your king now, until I return, whenever that may be. Tell Lila I love her." He tossed his crown through the water, where it floated through the water andinto his hands.

Lila had a bad feeling creeping into her, she felt like the world as she soon knew it would soon end. She swam to the doctor's room where he helped her.

Ewan didn't fully understand, but he sensed that there was no convincing the king to turn back now. Nor did he want to be king. But he took the crown and found Lila back at the castle. "Lila.." he didn't know what to say. How could he tell her what the king had done? He stepped forwards and hugged Lila.

Thay dissapeared, and Ewan was left swimming with the kings crown. Thay swam invisibly to a cave, where he cried and cried and criend. He thought Lila didnt love him anymore.

Thay decided to work on his other abilities. Most of his life he had spent practicing Empathy and Magic, but he still had a limited use of Telekinesis, and Mind reading. The qualities of a king.
