Under the Sea...

Lila thought how the kingdom would accept their new king. She thought how she would tell them. She didn't want to think about it now, she just wanted to go to sleep.
"Let's go to bed." She said quietly. "I hope you don't mind, but I don't want to sleep alone." She followed him to his room and curled up on one side of his bed. She was afraid to be alone. She didn't want whatever had taken over Thay to come back and attack her. Silent tears trickled down her cheeks as she closed her eyes.

King Thay used his abilities to search out the creature that had stolen his body and ruined his life. He found it, attacked it, and killed it. He attempted to retturn to his kingdom, reclaim his throne, but he had lost his way home. He needed someone to help him

Lila was restless as she slept next to Ewan. She tossed and turned, amazingly not waking him. She had only recieved two hours of sleep before she opened her eyes. The sun had gone away and left the waters dark and cold. She turned over to face Ewan. He was sleeping so peacefully. She smiled and kissed his cheek lightly. He was so brave. She then carefully got out of bed, careful not to disturb him. She slowly swam about the palace until she felt sleepy again.

Ewan woke up to find Lila gone. He took the crown off of his head and studied it, running his fingers along it. It was silver, and seemed to glow faintly in the dark room. (It looks a lot like the elf crowns from LOTR) Then he placed the crown back on his head and laid back down to sleep.

She swam into her room and studied the gift she received from Thay. She had forgotten about the gift under her pillow. She was wearing the medallion, she had never taken it off since he gave it to her. She felt the soft fabric of the new shirt, and ran her fingers along the rubies in her necklace that was laying next to the shirt. She admired the diamonds and then went over to her closet where she removed the ruby red dress she wore. She laid it on her bed, running her fingers along it gently. Last but not least she picked up the mermaid Ewan had given her. She loved all of her gifts, she couldn't pick a favorite. She swam out of her room with the mermaid in her hand and the medallion still around her neck.

Lila heard a voice in the sea, though most ofthe water noise drowned it out. "... Find him...."

Ewan woke from a bad dream, panting. He had seen the king in his dream. It was hard to tell where he was, but it looked like a cave somewhere. He put on his belt and sheathed his sword. He found Lila. "Did.. did you see it too?"

Chenelle died.

She turned around, making a swoosh in the water. She heard the voice. She went back to her room and placed the coral mermaid back down.

She was in a hall when Ewan found her. She nodded. "We should go look for him."

'...alone..." the voice said again.
"...Ewan must be king..."

~Actually she didn't I just wanted to see what you guys would say. I do say, Bid, not exactly the reaction I was expecting😛~

Chenelle stumbled across the rublle that used to be her house, uncovering a pile of jewels. Memorys rushed back to her.

((LTA if you're tryin to steal my mermaid again.. j/k))

Ewan could hear the voice, but he couldn't understand what it was saying. "What is it saying, Lila?"

"It's saying to find him. I have to find Thay before something happens." Lila kissed Ewan. "You stay here. We can't let anything happen to you, you are now the king." She began to swim away, feeling something pull her in the direction of the king.

~Yeah, I know. Excuses, excuses.😛~
Chenelle sat in the sand, confused and worried.

Ewan felt like going after her, but he understood that this was a journey that she must take alone.

"... if Ewan leaves the kingdom will fall..." this time the voice was addressed to Ewan, and he understood it.

Feeling this may be her last time seeing him, she swam back to Ewan. She kissed him again, a little longer this time. "I love you." She said quietly. She then swam away into the cold dark warters.
