She looked up into his eyes sadly. "You know I didn't." She said quietly, her bottom lip was trembling as she tried to hold back the tears. "I'm sorry." She ran her fingers through his hair. "I came because I love you, and I couldn't let you come here alone."

"Yes, I knew. I just wanted too here it in from your words."
He began to cry. "There's no chance that you would ahve picked me was there?"

"Please don't cry." She began to sob harder. "Please don't make this more difficult then it is. Of course you had a chance. I had to make the toughest decision ever tonight."

"I don't believe you. I'm sorry I put you through this. But... i couldnt live with myself I didn't try." Thay grabbed the back of Lila's beautifal hair and kissed her passionatly.

She kissed him back, but broke it midway. "I love you, but I can't do this. Please, Thay, please believe me."

"I can't feel you anymore. I can't believe you. Or I don't want to. Either way... I love you. Go home, and don't come back. Have a good life."

Thay swam away for a few miles trying not to cry. A little bit longer, he heard screams, he rushed back to see a patrol carrying Lila away. "No...' he charged with his trident, skewring a Dolphin and its rider. Then he was hit from behind with something and blacked out.

Hearing Thay say these words made a big part of her suddenly go dead inside. "Thay!" She called after him, but he didn't turn around. Suddenly she was grabbed from behind from Atantian soldiers. The took her dagger as she screamed and struggled. She couldn't get free and suddenly the knocked her out after Thay came to help and dragged her into the dark palace.

Alex woke up next a sleeping Lila, her face marred by a bruise above her deep right eye. They were in a cell, a small cell. He swam towards her and woke her up. "Lila?"

Lila slowly woke up, the bruise on her face throbbed with pain. "What happened?" She slowly sat up.

"A patrol founf you. i rsuhed to help, but they got me too." He paused.

"I'm sorry. I didnt mean what I said, I just couldnt handle it. i was angry, adn you didn't deserve that."

She shook her head. "It's alright." She said quietly. She raised her hands to her face. "Oh God, we're going to die in here."

"I won't let you die. I promise I wont let you die."

She hugged Thay, covering her face by burying it in his chest, hiding her tears.

He still couldnt feel her, but maybe that was because the prison was anti-magic. "I-I love you so much Lila. You're my closest friend, and you're the closest person to my heart. Im sorry i got you into this mess. If we get out, Ewan wilbe king, and I-I guess you'll be his queen... If I had a ring, I'd propose now, but..."

She leaned up, looking into his eyes and placed her finger against his lips to silence his words. "Shhhhh." She hushed quietly. She then closed her eyes and kissed his lips, hoping if they ever got out of there, Ewan would forgive her.

"U are the only reason I feel anything at all."
