Lila stopped for a moment. "What?" She studied the young mermaid carefully. "No, we can't be talking about the same person."

"Let me guess. He plays you with his his long-time made mermaids figurines, he always has fowers, says super sweet things, and cuddles a lot?"

Lila nodded slowly. She ran a hand through her hair as she felt every emotion she had in her body torn and go numb. This couldn't be right, it couldn't have been Ewan. There was no way it could have been her Ewan.

((1 hour. But ill nly be on for like, three hours... until late nite))

Thay read her emotions. He could admit that he wasn't dissapointed, or surprised, but it had hurt her so muhc... "Im sorry Lila." he hugged her.
The mermaid looked on... "I'm sorry, I didnt realize that you felt so much for him. Im also sorry to say that he doesnt love you back..."

She pushed away from Thay's hug. She couldn't feel anything anymore. It would heal in time, but it sure as hell felt like she was going to die from the heartache.
"You're lying." She told Alexia as her voice trembled, she was on the verge of tears.

Alexia looked at her. "I-Im sorry. You were clsoe toh im. But he doesnt mean it. He doesnt. No matter what he says or does he doesnt mean it."

Thay was beggining to get worried. "WE NEED WEAPONS. NOW" he said in a firm tone towards her

Thay's firm voice broke Lila out of her deep thoughts. "Fine, let's get out of here." Her voice sounded different, it held no emotion.

((ten in. remember: ill be bak and hr afterwards.))

Her voice held no emotion, but she did. He felt pain, extreme pain. "I'm sorry Lila. Im sorry." Alexia led them to a door and opened it. Inside was many weapons. "And god said let there be light." Alexia said. A light appeared in the center fo the room, reflecting off the many weapons. "MY Trident!" he yelled out. He went to pick it up. "And.. Ewan's dagger." He tossed it to Lila, hoping she wouldnt use it on herself.

She caught the dagger and as soon as her hand touched it she remembered in exact detail when Ewan gave it to her. She dropped it, feeling the tears rise. She surpressed them, inside she yelled at herself for being such a sap. She should have known he didn't mean it. Things were too good to be true, she couldn't trust anyone now. She picked up the dagger, ready to defend herself.

"Lila? If you dont want that dagger i can get you another oen.. or two"

She still didn't want to believe Ewan could be a player, and most of her didn't believe it, but the part of her that did was destroyed. She looked up at Thay. "Huh? No, this one is fine."

((What's ila feelin, on you now Ewan.. what now n udda werds.))

"You okay Lila?"

(( she wants to not believe what Alexia told her, but she's having a hard time ))

She nodded. "I'm fine."

((She aint going to kill herself is she?))

A smile crept across his face. "You're lieng to me again..." He put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay. I don't like this at all, but this really is his sister. It must be true."

(( No, she's not ))

She looked into his eyes. "I'm fine." She repeated in the same tone after casting a glance over at Alexia. "Now let's get out of here."

Thay looked at her suspiciously for a bit. Then the three swam outfot he room. Alexia led them to a large throne room. They silently made their way behind the throne, the guards and the kings back to them. Thay wispered to Lila. "Are you ready? You don't have to..."

"I'm ready." She said. She didn't care anymore if she lived or died.

Thay bit his lip. He felt for Lila's hand. "I love you Lila."

She looked down at his hand which was holding hers and then back up to his eyes. "I know." A small smile crossed her lips.

"I won't let you die here." He threw a knife through the water, plunging into the back of a merman. Thay let go of Lila's delicate hand reluctantly and charged from nearest Merman while they still had thte element of surprise and skweered it through the chest with his trident.
