Under the Sea...

"No, I want to go." She answered simply, not looking at him while she spoke.

"Why are you so angry at me?"

"I don't want to talk about it. I don't feel like fighting."

"I wont fight with you. I'm tired of fighting." Thay felt something different... she didnt love him anymore, or so he thought. hatredand love were finiky when mixed with empathy.

She sat down on the bed, she felt like they weren't going to leave the bedroom anytime soon. She rubbed her temples. "I'm sick of you getting mad whenever I mention Ewan. You're jealousy makes you repulsive."

((Not leave the bedroom anytime soon.. I LIKE IT!))

"Yes I know... I feel it, remember?" Thay often tried to retain his positive attitude.

She looked up at him feeling helpless. "Then why do you do it?"

"I'm merperson. Just like everyone else. Im not perfect. i feel Jealousy and react to it just as you would." He looked at her lovingly. "None is perfect, least of all me."

She looked down. "I know, I'm sorry."

"For what? Im the one who was jealous and snapped at you."

A small boy wearing a white tunic appeared above the battlefield. He carried the Atlantian battle standard, a gold trident with the Atlantian flag attatched to it just below the "tines" of the "fork." He also carried a white flag, which he tied under the flag. He raised it above his head. Within moments, the fighting stopped. Without so much as a whisper, soldiers on both sides put away their weapons. The Atlantian side started marching away, leaving the death and destruction behind.

What was left of Ewan's army (only about 1000 mermen) let out a somewhat disheartened cheer. Still no one noticed Ewan's absence. It had been 14 hours of straight fighting.

"I'm sorry because I was getting annoyed with you. I know it probably feels like I'm leading u along, but it's only because I still love you. I can't just stop loving you, even though I chose Ewan, just as I wouldn't be able to stop loving Ewan if I chose you."

Ewan sits unconcious on the battlefield, with his sword propped up on his "lap"...

I was watching Lord of the Rings The Two Towers and I saw Aragorn's dagger and I immediately thought of the one Ewan gave Lila lol. Good movie ✅
Ewan's battle speech sounds a little familiar too 😖hifty: ))

((yep I tried to do sort of a combination of Theoden's speech before the battle of Pellenor fields and Aragorn's before the black gates.. Sorry I'm not much at inspirational speeches myself and the ones in RotK were great.))
