Under the Sea...

Lila grabbed her dagger, it was dull after her previous fighting, but it would have to do. "Take us to him."

The spider crep up in front of him, slowly weaving strands fow ater-resistant slik around Thay's collapsed body.

(( gotta make a phone call.. so if I'm not respodning u know why... I'll try to type and talk, but no promises. ))

On the way out from the palace, Ewan found the half empty bottle of whatever magic had saved his life. He put it in a leather pouch that hung at his waist.

Taty nodded. "Please, I'll take you to him." she said as she leadthem back to the cabin. Before entering. "The spiders in there." she warned.

The spider had fully weaven its prison around thay's helpless body. The evil arachnid hovered above it

Ewan followed Taty to the cabin. He bashed down the door with a hard lunge. The spider sat across the room from him. He saw Thay's body lying beneath it. He slapped it with his tail fin, which made it turn around. He snarled at it. It lunged at him, and he dodged neatly to the side. It lost track of where Ewan was, and while it was still confused, he stabbed it in the belly from below. The monster collapsed dead onto the floor.

...and then a ton of small spiders poured from its dead mothrs egg sack.

"Shit," Ewan said quietly. He slashed away at them as fast as he could, but there were a ton of them. "Uh... Lila? Help?"

((hmm.. Now where have I seen this before..))

Thay awoke from his sleep, his ahdncouldnt move, but luckily, his knife was already in his hands. He cut at the strands and broke his arms free.

Ewan swam over to Thay and pulled him four or five feet off the sandy bottom. That way, both of them were relatively safe from the spiderlings. Now, with a good amount of effort (Thay was considerably heavier than him), Ewan hefted Thay out of the cabin and slammed the door shut behind him.

"It isnt over...." Thay muttered while rapidly unstringing himself with his dagger. "They're here." A giant spider blew out fo the ground, followed by several others, and then more, and more. "RUN!" he yelled to the tohers.

The merman shook his head. "Once inside, your not allowed out." he said.

((what first the Atlantians now the spiders god this kingdom sucks!! Also it's "swim" not "run" 😛 j/k I don't care))

Ewan kept his sword out, ready if he was attacked. He grabbed Lila's hand and swam as fast as he could after Thay.

"Holy shit!" The spider leapt through the water trailing bubbles behind it and then slammed right in front of Ewan and Thay. "We may not sruvive this Ewan." Tahy looked at Ewan, the look that told him that he would protecting Lila and Taty.

Lila shook with fear slightly, but kept her grasp on her dagger

Ewan looked back at Thay, a look of sheer determination on his face. "I'm not afraid to die. Not anymore." Ewan moved forwards to confront the huge spider. "Lila, Taty, go get help. Hurry!" The monster was about to prod him with its front leg. Ewan slashed horizontally at it, severing it's "foot".

Lila took Taty's hand and swam to the palace. They received many odd looks from those who they passed. "Help! Your king is in trouble! An army of spiders have attacked him! He needs your help!" Already mermen picked up their swords and swam to their aid.

The spider army grew... hundreds had sprung up. "The eruption.. it woke them up!" Thay had realized it, but Ewan would not now what he was talking about... ((My character "dies" soon.)) Thay charged, severeing their hairy stringy legs and foots while swimming blindly on, until THEIR king hit him with a feeler. "oof"
