Have you guys read the "Conversations from the Universe"? That came in the Halo 2 package?
It gives a couple of clues about the plot in Halo 3. And I am 80% sure that there is going to be another bad-ass Covenant type. Read that conversation between the two Elites(Gold and Green lettering). I also translated the letter to the Prophet of Mercy.

also, more halo theories. 343 mentions the 7 other rings in the cutscene before the tartarus fight. What is the meaning of the prevalent symbolism of the number 7 in the halo series?
I also noted a strange resemblence to gravemind and the master chief. when his mouth is open, but semi closed towards the end of the gravemind scene in Truth, he has a strange resembalance to the master chief's head. But then again it could be just me.
Well honestly i basically ran through the game because i thought there would be some big cliffhanger ending that would reveal the topic for halo3, but i didn't pay attention to the game enough that i had no clue what was going on.
Here's a question: What the hell was that sea-monster thing? And what's it's purpose
Is Cortana going to betray master chief? (based on the scene at the end of the credits)
What's hidden on earth?
What was the covenant looking for?
I wish they had had more levels on earth, i want to see how much damage the covenant managed to do.

Anyway i loved the game, the covenant war levels were the most amazing things i've ever seen in a videogame and is easily comparable to some movies...i can't wait till 3.
I only have one question....what's with the contradictions in Halo 2?
I mean, they talk about how they know the location of the human homeworld in the 3rd book, and they talk about it in the bonus booklet and special instruction manuel, yet in the level regret, and in outskirts she talks baout how the phrophets didnt really realise earth was the human home world.
so does that mean the covenant thought another planet was the homeworld? it confuses me....
Ahh....but they were looknig for the Ark! They didn't realise why it was so heavily protected by humans, so then they're like, "Oh, boy. I think this might be their homeworld."
Cortana(in First Strike) says that they found Earth. She didn't say that they found our homeworld. The Covenant were (probably) just looking for the Ark.
