Graphics were never TOOOO impressive on Halo and i don't expect them to be eye opening on Halo 2, but from what i've seen it should be a much better game than the original.

The game play and storyline were always the best part about Halo. There are a lot of haters out there (mostly PS2 owners) who choose to hate on Halo just because it's not on PS2. Well, not everything can be Final Fantasy and those loosers need to get a life.

Halo IS NOT OVERRATED, because it only got it's hype after it made a name for itself by being the best game on X-box. I bought Halo right when I got X-box, and I had heard nothing about it. It really impressed me, and continues to do so today.

PS2 doesn't have a FPS that's on par with Halo.

Halo came out in Nov. 2001 and of course there is going to be better looking graphics in today's games. What makes Halo good is that is a FPS and it runs great in a console. Plus the loading doesn't take forever. Besides I love it when the grunts die! hehe I never get tired of hearing them in pain everytime I use the plasma gun.

totally agree on that one. Or just sneaking up behind them, to hear them talk

Try to sneak behind the Hunters and listen to them. Now that's a trick 😉

the enemies i hate on Halo is the flud but to hear them die would be the elites scream when you throw a plasma grenade on them.

The offical realese date for HALO 2 is the 9th of November.

Well, speaking of graphics, Bungie isn't using polygonal textures in "Halo 2" like they did in "Halo". So as to make the graphics much rounder and smoother.

At least not until Killzone comes out. And YES it will be on par with Halo, but I doubt it will live up to the potential of Halo 2.

The name halo alone is worth more than the actual game.

their is this sense of awsomeness that follows the game. with the cool rock music that kicks in at a certain point, or after you look back at a battlefield and say"omg...how the hell did I do all that?" it's this sense of awsomeness that truly drives the game. it feels almost perfect the moment you pick the controller up, with the look sensitivity not moving to fast, and all the controls making sense,(unlike timesplitters 2 a good but not great shooter).

I don't see what leads you to make such a comment. I just went to the Killzone website, and their whole trailer doesn't even show any actual game footage.

Then i went to gamespot, and all of the photos aren't even game shots. They're just part of a video...nothing with a crosshair or anything.

Provide some proof to your claim, and i'm inclined to believe you...

I think they keep pushing Halo 2 because they are trying to make it perfect in everyway (or they just wann piss people off )
