"She helped us find you, and from that we know have answers to questions we didnt before. Regarding Jericho, the matrix, and The Bounty."

"That was MY design, not hers," says Melitus. "Not least because it was only I who raised those concerns for you in the first place. Nothing you have done has made any difference, Castor; something you should get used to."

Damn it, Castor, you are sure you have talked about making a difference before...

"Listen bub, your getting on my nerves with this 'make a difference' crap...whats your deal...."

Becoming quite agrivated and unsure of his situation he turns and rubs his head again. Those words eat away in his brain and his mind wanders a bit.

"What are you trying to say......make a differemce how...."

Quite confuzled about what Meltius is saying he has a puzzled look about him.

(Thats part of my oracle prediction, but i dont want him to know that unless he already does.)

Azrael looks concerned at Castor's confusion.
"He;s just messing with you Castor. He'll slip something in sometime soon like he did last time. We just have to pick up on it."

"You think what you are doing is worthwhile, your fight for Zion," says Melitus. He closes his eyes for a moment.

"But tell me, Castor. When you see all you have striven for destroyed around you; when you know that your friends and all possible help is gone, and when you know that your failure has destroyed your future, do you think it will have been worth it? When you lose that fight, your opponent stand triumphant above you, and you know the fault is yours... what will you think then?"

Oh no... Castor, he's talking about what the Oracle told you. He's talking about your future.

"Oh, I am sorry," says Melitus, opening his eyes again. "Did you think that the Oracle was the only person who could do that?"

"I don't mess with anyone," says Melitus. "Believe me, Azrael. You'll curse the Oracle when you find out what she didn't tell you about YOUR future."

"Listen, how about you cut the crap and tell us what you want!" Azrael is growing angry - it is slighty beyond his understanding(obviously he can't know all the stuff not said)

~notices iron lung hasn't been making sounds~

"How many times?" says Melitus. "I have told you what I want. I want you to understand all that has transpired before you move further."

"Then how about you tell me, if you can do the same?"

"Our futures do look grim, indeed" starts Rade "That is why we must grab and hold on to whatever we consider might help us. The oracle has proven herself to us. But i try not to be angry about what she's NOT telling , instead thankful for what she is...
that is in part why i trust her. because i have to...i have to grab on to something"

"Son of a Bi**h. I refuse to listen to this crap.....What makes you so certain...You can tknow everything...I have my own path to follow..."

Azrael walks over just out of Melitus' field of view - behind the 'lung'.

OOC
Ush - I have a weird thing going on with the Role-playing forum page. It isnt upgrading or anything and tells me I have 1 PM when I don't. Then when I open another window it's fine. So I closed the werid one and opened a second window - but it did the same weird thing...

(😬 you're on a philosophy path...you should be pacient and think things over a bit..before answering. doh..your character isn't really gonna solve anything by getting angry, that's for sure....)

"The same thing that makes the Oracle certain," says Melitus. "I have seen it. You can disbelieve it all the way up until the point it happens, if you wish- but if you believe her, then believe me.

"Your faith, Rade, is touching, if juvenile. But the truth is you don't have faith in HER. How can you, you do not eevn know what she is or what she wants? You have faith in what she says, that is all. And you do well to, for the Oracle tells no lies with her predictions, any more than I do. Like I told no lies to Jericho, who had already worked out just how much the Oracle was keeping from him.

"I chose not to tell you, Azrael. Not at this time. All I will say is that you will feel misled.

"Now, let me assure you by all that I mean in what I have said. When I say that I arranged for things to happen., I do not mean it in your Human way, I mean I saw what was to come, and positioned things accordingly. You going for the Codes at that time, your meeting with Jericho's people there, you visiting the Oracle to be led to Ni Zhan to be led to me... this is all my doing. I did noit need to re-code you to have total control over you, that simply helps focus your minds at this point.

"And do not think that any display of irrationality from you you confuse my Machine mind. I assure you, I understand humans perfectly well. And if there was even the remotest possibility of you harming me, you would not be here right now. That chance does not exist."

"I understand this. I do not, however understand why. If we do eventually kill Jericho, then will you tell me what you believe my future to be?"

(Hmm, if that is not a cacheing issue, Trckster, then I am afraid I am not quite sure what the problem is... ask Raz if it persists)

"You will never kill Jericho," says Melitus, "so that does not need to be considered."

(ok - thanks)
