USH'S MATRIX GAME: THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'Eliminate'- PHILOSOPHY PATH

"The choice you made," says Melitus.

Celsius pulls his Glock and aims it at Melitus' head.

"What do you plan to do with that?" asks Melitus.

"Take a guess," says Celsius.

The door suddenly flies open... and advancing into the room slowly, is the figure Celsius saw near the Oracle's apartment, at the start of Assignment 2.

Now you see him for more than a moment, as the rest of you collapse down onto the floor, you see he has a somewhat Asian look to him. But it is difficult to tell, because his face is almost entirely covered with the long, long black hair that sweeps across it like a curtain. Other than that, he is in a trenchcoat like the rest of you.

He speaks, in a whisper.

"Looks like this one is a problem," he says.

"Indeed," says Melitus. "Deal with him."

(Reintroducing Celsius or killing him, Ush? 😛 )

(Relaying...)

Heph clutches his head and leans against the wall.

"What the hell...?" Heph says as the figure enters. "Who the hell are you? And what did you do to us, Melitus!?"

*stumbles to the floor on hands and knees and then collapses*

Celsius cocks his Glock held to Melitus' head.

"Go ahead," whispers the new man. Looking around him, Celsius weighs up his options... and pulls the trigger.

A chunk of Melitus' head is splattered across the room.

Melitus, who now you think about it, hasn't stopped to breathe at all in the last five minutes, turns his head to face Celsius.

"Like I say," he says. "These things are mere contrivances. Affectations. Nothing is as it seems."

The door opens and a Doctor comes in with a swab, to 'clean up' Melitus' head. But your attention is focussed elsewhere as the new figure closes in on Celsius.

"Amongst his people," says Melitus, "he is known as the Xiao Emo." Celsius whirls his guns to face him.

"Aside from his predilection for consuming human flesh, he has a number of interesting abilities."

Celsius fires three bursts at the Xiao Emo. And the Xiao Emo...

... vanishes.

"Such as the ability to disappear at will..."

The Xiao Emo reappears behind Celsius, who spins. The Xiao Emo performs a highly-skilled Eye of the Fox disarm on Celsius, relieving him of his guns and smashing him across the head with the butt.

Celsius falls back and adopts a Martial Arts pose, and the Xiao Emo does likewise. The two of them close into fight, but after a couple of blows, the two of them face off against each other... ans the Xiao Emo suddenly exhales a deep black fog.

"... and the ability to breathe out poisonous gas," finishes Melitus.

Celsius is sent choking to the floor.

(Yeah, does this mean Cel is dead, cause poison doesnt sound too good, also, if not whats gonna happen next...inquiring minds want to know.)

"Shall I kill him?" asks the Xiao Emo.

"Yes," says Melitus. The Xiao Emo picks up Celsius, and black teeth start to head for his neck...

"Wait," says Melitus. "Zion may send others. He could be useful in a hostage situation. Leave him alive."

Which is the last you all hear before things fade to black.

Which is the end of Assignment 3.
